In an episode set three years in the past, Lucas (Chad Michael Murray) visits Peyton (Hilarie Burton) in Los Angeles with an offer that will change their relationship forever. Under pressure from Victoria (guest star Daphne Zuniga, "Melrose Place"), Brooke (Sophia Bush) must make a difficult decision about the future of her clothing line. Whitey (guest star Barry Corbin) is concerned when Nathan's (James Lafferty) temper flares on the night of the college basketball championship. Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti) struggles to balance the pressures of school and being a new mom. Lee Norris and Antwon Tanner also star.

Joy humming to the baby!! It makes up for the fact that we only saw her in the first and last 10 minutes. That scene at the end was so cute. "That's not fair, ball is so much easier than guitar." And then the Naley kiss Joy definitely rocked the small amount she was actually given.

My friend said the same thing about the iPhone when she saw it. I think I remember announcing them as the class of 07, so I just figured it was 2011, then back to 2008. Trying to understand the OTH timeline is pretty impossible.

LOL in my rant of how smokin' Joie is, I totally forgot to respond to the statement I quoted! Um yeah, I never even attempt to understand it. I just nod along and pretend I can make sense of what's happening.

Holy smokin' Joie! Guh, she kills me, she really does. My focus went something like this. Holy crap Joie's hot!, blah, blah, blah, holy crap Joie's hot! LOL. Ask Mandz.

I don't have many coherent thoughts right now. I just keep thinking about the NH kiss at the end and then I melt into a puddle of goo. I didn't tape tonight and now I'm so mad at myself! I need to find a clip so I can just watch it again and again and again and again...

So that was a very Haley, NHJ sparse episode. Man, gives me flashbacks to S4. Heh. I did enjoy what we did get to see. Haley humming to toddler!Jamie is precious. All that is missing now is an entire lullaby that we must see before season's end. Other than the NHJ scene at the end and the NH scene at the end, I heart the LH scene in the beginning. It was such a nice touch to know that they lived together and how very much involved Lucas was in their lives. Scott Family spin-off, please!

Can I just express how much I floved Joy's performance in the last scene? Gah. She played off that moment so so so well! You can tell she was a bit tentative while they were both leaning in, and it seemed like James really took her lead when their foreheads touched and there was that brief little moment and pause before he kissed her. Oh, and when they pull back, you can hear her breathing and then she just grabs onto his shirt. Gah. Seriously, things that like make it a moment worth watching over and over again.
