But I may add that you totally don't have to have a lot of money to have a motor cycle and a nice car as I know plenty of people from the hood that do (yes gals, I went to a rather "Ghetto fabulous" public high school that was mostly African American and Latino, and it's a miracle I got into an amazing university because the majority of my class didn't even graduate unfortunately... :sad: )

Nevertheless, if you know how to get a great deal, you can get both of those things. OR if you invested most of your money into that and nothing else, you can probably pull that off with a mere cop salary if you are in debt with loans and credit cards and stuff (I know an EMT who has a really nice car, and they make less than some cops do). Nevertheless, Ben's character seems intelligent enough to save money, so I'm sure your explanation is the real reason as I can't picture him in major debt!

But its more than just the motorcycle and car. His mom seems to live in a very nice house, Ben was in college and he didn’t correct John when he told him that he doesn’t need money so I think that Ben is pretty well off.

I think he must have some kind of trust fund, or his mum may have inherited money from her own family after her divorce or something like that.

His mum does have a nice house and she obviously still lives in Beverly Hills/Bel Air where the robberies are going on. I don't get the vibe that Ben lives at home though. I want to see where he lives. Hopefully we will get some idea of that when that girl turns up.

It says on the NBC site that Ben is risking his career in this episode. I really hope John has a massive go at him. I love seeing Ben look all hurt and downcast when John's mad at him.

You guys have a lot of good theories. I think there is defintely more to Ben's back story. I am hoping we learn more in the next 2 episodes.

I wonder if John will find out about Ben getting invloved with the victim. He will certainly be all over Ben for it!!

I don't know who the girl is Cal. But I'm sure she'll be listed on IMDB after the episode would air.

The video kept buffering on my comp. so I wasn't really able to see it, but you mean to tell me that on Thursday's episode Ben is going to punch people and get in trouble making out/doing the sex thing with a victim... Sounds like the OC re-enacted 2009!

^My guess would be that when Ben and John got the calls about the robberies in Ben's mom neighborhood, Ben asked John to check on his mom.

The clip looks awesome! So, there are 2 things in this epi that Ben will probably get into trouble for - sleeping with that girl and clobbering his dad. I wonder what happens between John and Ben's parents after Ben walks out. And what John's going to say to Ben. John will already be in a mood about the pills.

Thank you for the promo, I can't help me but I don't like the dad. But I will wait until I see the episode to make up my mind.
