ETA: All I have to say is Sherman and Dewey were frickin' hilarious in this episode. :lmao: Sherman - what a manwhore! :lol: And what a hot head! OMG, that was great. He was ridiculously entertaining though!

And on the shallow note ... I like that Ben has some tummy fur.

A lot of great lines in this epsiode! I wasn't thinking it was going to be funny, but Sherman and Dewey were very entertaining!

OMG! The Ford Escape scene was graphic! LOL, when they went to tell her husband she was dead and the staff and he were all excited she was killed.

I wasn't sure if Sammy was going to have Ben's back after he punched that girl.

LOL at the whole McDonald's application thing!

I still can't get over Ben's ****tiness and Dewey's fascination for big women. :lmao:

Ben's one liners. OMG what a likable dick! :lol:

And I almost forgot about how awesome he was with that old lady's cat. :lol: And "Grandbo"... OMG.

If Ben gets a lot of sex scenes, then after my exam I'm going to make a video. "What happened to Ryan many years later?" Because there's this scene on The OC where Seth says, "Dear got, she's a ****!" And I can edit it to sound like, "Dear god, he's a ****!!" And then make it a hot video of ****ty Ben Sherman. :lmao:

I liked the episode.

The new captain is badass and the Mcdonalds application thing was hilarious.

I kinda have mixed emotions about Sherman, this episodes. He was funny but he was a massive dick. And I hated how he lost his cool and punched that 15 year old girl. I understand though, he was stressed out, she was being hostile, etc. It still doesn't make it right. He seemed different in this episode compared to the rest, imo.

Dewey was frickin' hilarious, couldn't stop laughing at the whol bbw thing. And when Cooper did the fake laugh :lol:

Another funny scene was when one of the officer asked Sherman if he could come to his house and set his niece straight :lol:

Oh, also forgot, when Ben tackled that guy to the ground, it was awesome :p

:lol: Ben was definitely a dick, but I feel he was likable still because in all of his dickery, he was funny and you could still kind of understand where he was coming from. I feel like Ben McKenzie is having tons of fun playing a ****. As for punching the girl, while I don't agree - I don't think it's as bad as some people might make it out to be considering the situation. The girl was breaking the law. She was being combative, she hit him and spit on him and he freaked out for a split moment and punched her. Bad yes. But forgivable? Also, yes.

Yeah, you're right. She shouldn't have been trying to fight Sherman in the first place. I swear kids these days have no respect (I know it's a tv show, but it's based on something that happened in real life.) But yeah, I just hope Sherman learns how to stay cool under pressure and also starts acting less cocky :look:

Honestly, I think his reactions were a little bit understandable. He was in a major shooting at the police station the episode before where officers were injured and he was so scared that he actually wet his pants. Then he almost gets taken out with a baseball bat, and so when this girl started being beligerant, I think he just kind of lost it. It seemed more like a rage black out sort of thing to me. He wasn't thinking, his adrenaline was really picking up, and he just totally lost it. :nod:

I really enjoyed this episode. So many great one liners, I laughed at so many scenes. This is probably the best episode ever for me tbh. This season is just mind blowing so far, I know its only two episodes down, but even so, just fab!

I dont know I am not bothered at all about Ben S being a ****, people sleep around for lots of different reasons, and that "behaviour" is always deemed to be more acceptable from the male gender anyway. I dont think it makes you a bad person.

I agree he lost it big time with the teenage girl, BUT she was pushing and pushing.

Dewey was on top form, the bbw thing was hilarious.

At least so far, Ben (M) is getting more lines, he is getting to show his acting ability and is much more of a central character, so bearing in mind all our comments over him not having many lines in the past etc... Im really pleased for Ben and very proud of him.

I think this is the most I have typed in one go - sorry if I am rambling :D

I agree with you, Dawn! Ben is getting good stuff to work with this season and way more than last season. I think the writers actually listened to us! I remember when they'd asked what we want to see on the show and I had gotten at least ten Ben fans to reply to that and let them know. That and a combination of other factors (that we don't know about) seems to have worked! :D He's seriously like the main character right now with Sammy as his sidekick and I'm loving it! And yeah, he's delivering hilarious one liners, getting lots of action (both on the job and in his sex life), getting put in life altering situations and having to react to a lot of new people... he's getting central storylines. I can't complain. Ben McKenzie is getting to show his range so far this season! :D

Exactly! :D I do hope Ben gets some very emotional scenes though (and aces them) because those are the type that are looked at by the Emmy people. :nod:
