| Ann Biedermann says she never watched The OC but her storyline for Ben sometimes feels like a continuation of the life of Ryan Atwood. I wish there was more episodes before fall. I love seeing the name Ben McKenzie in the credits every week. I really love several of these characters and will miss seeing them during the break. I hope The Listener or anything else put during the 10:00Thurs slot other than Southland tanks. And I really hope this weeks ratings come up. | |||

And I can't believe Russell got shot!!!!!!!!!!! How horrible!!!!!! And Regina King with the gun... wooooooo hoooooo!!!!! Way to work it girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And Sammy is sooooo damn sweet and compassionate it's unreal!!!! He almost reminds me of Sandy Cohen... only his wife is a complete lunatic, he's a detective instead of a lawyer, and he has no kids... ![]() __________________ I Ben!!!!!!! ![]()

| Really amazing episode. First, Ben + no shirt = ![]() So did Daisy dump him cause he's a cop or something? I was a little confused by that conversation... I felt so bad for Ben....I'll console him if he needs it. ![]() Loved Adams with the big *** gun. Chickie and Dewey.....I wonder who her partner will be next season? Any ideas if Russ will survive? (His name is Russ right?) overall really enjoyed it and I look forward to next season | |||

Daisy was ridiculous. They had been together for a few weeks, right? Then out of the blue she is going back to NY and has a boyfriend there? I am glad she is gone. Poor Ben. Lydia was awesome!! Way to go!! Don't mess with her! Sammy was very sweet too. He was very protective of Janilla. I guess that is the end of her. She was very cute on the show. She was acting like a normal kid. Tammy is just getting more ridiculous. She is so self centered. Chickie bugged me though. Why would she let Dewey drive around drunk? What did she think was going to happen? I was not expecting the Russell ending. Is he scheduled to be on next season?

| Elite Fan ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Oh, Ben. I was so sad for him when Daisy dumped him; he seemed so lonely and sad, I don’t think he open himself up to a lot of people. The last scene of him sitting at his house alone drinking beer felt so lonely, I wanted to jump in and give him a hug. ![]() This is probably not a very popular opinion but I didn’t hate Daisy, I didn’t think she was amazing but I didn’t hate her either, I think she brought out another side of Ben and they were kind of cute in their own way. I found the scene of them lying in bad and her singing to him really sweet (and not just because Ben is shirtless) ![]() Another scene that I really liked was the one where Ben is leaving and John is calling him "boots" I know it's such a random scene but I really liked Ben's smile and the way John was teasing him. ![]() That lady that called 911 because the restaurant didn’t have chicken nuggets was hilarious and Ben telling her to try the fish was ever funnier! I find the Chickie/Dewey dynamic really interesting especially when I compare it to Ben/John because both Dewey and John suffer from an addiction and right now John has his somewhat under control, but will he ever get to where Dewey is now? Will Ben be where Chickie is? When John told Chickie; "bottom line, I'll cover you as long as it won't cost me my job or land me in jail" I was thinking that maybe Ben will have to remind John of his own words some day. Nate and especially Sammy were really sweet taking care of Janila, Tammy was an Ass for not wanting to take care of her. Sammy is running around buying her expensive cameras and putting up with her BS and she can't do this one little thing for him? I also really hate how Sammy is always apologizing to her. You can do better Sammy! I love you Lydia Adams! LOVE!!! I'll admit that I didn’t like Lydia's character in the pilot episode, it wasn’t about the acting because Regina rocks! It was just something about her that seemed kind of blah to me, but Lydia has really grown to be one of my favorite characters on the show! It's so rare to find a strong, independent, smart female character on tv (because a lot of the times they tend to be weak and needy) the only one that come close (in my eyes) is Kyra Sedgwick's character on "The closer" but unlike Kyra's character Lydia is so compassionate, she doesn’t see things in black and white, she sees the grey in life, no one is completely bad or completely good in her eyes. Can't wait to see more of her in the second season! Who is this Caesar guy? Is he the one that sold John the drugs in the last episode? Dewey – you are a childish stupid moron! *sigh* poor Chickie. I don’t care about Sal or his daughter; he is probably the only character I don’t want to see in the next season. Give Chickie more screen time please! I find her FAR more interesting than him. I never warmed up to Russell so I don't really care if he'll live or die, which make me feel worried about the cliffhanger the show left us with. I know that a lot of people felt like they couldn’t relate to Russell so will they care to come back in the second season to see if he made it? Wouldn’t it been smarter to put someone like Ben, John or Lydia in the position that Russell is in? __________________ Icon:Hayat If you pursue the pop-culture thing and indulge yourself in it, go to all the events and get yourself on the cover of Us Weekly every week, that fame is fleeting,It's not a road you can navigate for a long time. | Really enjoyed this episode (except that I wanted to see Barry the Basehead again before the end of the season). I thought it was as strong as the pilot, and it seemed to involve more of the cast in each storyline. So, that was the shirtless scene? I hoped we'd get to see a bit more than that. I am glad to see the back of Daisy. She was just using Ben and obviously contacting her ex behind Ben's back. Poor Ben looked so lonely at the end. It was a holiday weekend and he was left all alone. He should have gone and hung out with Chickie or something. I know we didn't get much Ben/John, but they seem a lot more comfortable with each other now. John is a lot less abrupt and lot more relaxed during their conversations in the car. And Ben managed to look at a dead, mutilated body without throwing up this time. So, that's progress! Also, loved the way John looked at Cesar at the end. I am glad he has someone around. I hope Russell doesn't die. TES had a real Guy Patterson from That Thing You Do vibe going last night when he reunited with his wife - and I loved him so much as Guy. Sal needs to stop stalking his kid and do some work. Like go and save Russell's life. I think that's the last we've seen of Dewey but I think we'll find out more about his influence on Chickie next season. She should have refused to get in the car with him right from the start. He must have some kind of hold over her. I am glad she was OK. Lydia was awesome. She is such an amazing character, really strong but also sympathetic and compassionate. I am so glad nothing happened to her or Janilla and that Janilla's finally in the witness protection programme. It's a shame that it took a shoot-out at Lydia's house for Janilla to finally get the institutional support she should have had at the start. Sammy is adorable how he is so protective of Janilla. Tammy just couldn't care less. She's so self-centred, it's unbelievable. I am surprised she actually likes Richter. And we need more Nate next season. I know Kevin A has been shooting Weeds alongside Southland so he wasn't always available, but he is too hot not to have more focus on him next season. I also think the two detectives who work with Sammy/Nate/Sal (Kenny No-Gun and that big guy) are really good. I know they're only supporting cast, but they do it well. | LOL. I thought the same thing of the shirtless Ben scene. I was not expecting it to be like that. I was glad too to see the back of Daisy! John was cute with Cesar. I think Ben is suspecting. I am enjoying the two of them together too. It was progress that Ben didn't throw up! I agree we do need more Nate next season. | |||
