| Fan Forum's Finest   | I'll have to agree. Lindsay was a real character. Something that I liked about her. She didn't come to California and automatically decide she was the next big thing. She was shy, conservative and down to earth, something that could have been good for Ryan. I'm going to say this even though my main ship on the OC is R/M, but as I've said in previous threads, I'm pretty open minded and I can look at the relationship as a whole with the show. Lindsay was probably a good thing for Ryan. Especially after all the drama and attention that got thrown on him from dating Marissa. It was probably nice to have a quiet, not known girl as a girlfriend. She had issues of her own, but like you said they weren't self inflicted and she knew she had them and in the end she didn't want them to drag Ryan down, which I think was her main reason for leaving town. I don't know. Maybe all I just said didn't make sense, but I thought I'd give my two cents on RL  | |||

| Hmm - I'm always a bit sceptical about new shows on Fox. I've had a few too many experiences with getting into a show, then having Fox cancel it extremely quickly. | Firefly was the one that really got me slightly bitter.  Although I've had many, many other experiences with shows I liked that got cancelled quickly (at least with Firefly we eventually got the Serenity movie).But hopefully this will be a good show, and will do well.
