I'm not a real big fan of what went on with Ryan's father after the episode where he came over for dinner (I don't really know the episode titles, but it sounds like it could have been that "My Two Dads" one you mentioned), but we've talked about that.

I do agree there needed to be more resolution, one way or another, with the Trey storyline. Guess I'll just have to imagine it happened at some point after Ryan went off to college.

Here's a nice Article about Shannon Lucio

Former 'O.C.' Actress Stars in Drama Film

August 22, 2007

Good news for Shannon Lucio fans. After being cast and replaced by Sophia Myles on the upcoming CBS drama pilot Moonlight, the 27-year-old former actress of The O.C. will be featured on the big screen in the upcoming movie Feast of Love.

Lucio, who grabbed the romantic attention of Ben McKenzie's character as Lindsay Gardner on The O.C., will star alongside Morgan Freeman, Greg Kinnear and Selma Blair in a romantic drama based on the novel by Charles Baxter of the same name.

Directed by the Academy Award-winning Robert Benton, Feast of Love focuses on a community of friends in Oregon as it explores on love and its various incarnations. This thoroughly modern version of a Midsummer Night's Dream touches facets of drama, humor, mystery and sadness as stories interweave into a romantic tale.

Following her stint on The O.C., Lucio scored several film and television projects. She was cast in the tele-pic Spring Break Shark Attack as Danielle Harrison and became part of the drama A House Divided. On the silver screen, she landed one of the lead roles in Youthanasia and played a high school teen in the action-adventure comedy flick Graduation.

Aside from Lucio's upcoming film, fans can catch the former O.C. actress in Say Goodnight, a comedy movie about three guys who tell a friend stories of how they met the loves of their lives, and how they managed to completely screw up the relationships. Set for release this year, the film also stars Rob Benedict, Christopher Gessner, and David Monahan. Additionally, she'll be taking on the role of Ryne Waechter in the semi-autobiographical drama Fireflies in the Garden, featuring Julia Roberts and Ryan Reynolds.

She is. I'm glad for her, she was so underrated on the she show, I think she's a great actress.

Nice. Does it say anything under the "Ryan and Lindsay", or is it just decoration?

Its just decoration.

I love that picture, they look like such a cute couple, I think Ben look good with a red head Shannon kind of remind me of Amy Adams and I loved Ben and Amy in Junebug.

I always wonder. If I don't know that it's just decoration, I end up spending all this time squinting at the art to try and see if I can figure out what it says.

I was trying to think of a song that fit RL but I couldn’t think of any thing. Are there any songs that remind you of tnem?

There's a song on one of the OC soundtracks that always makes me think of them when I play it (even though I don't believe it was used during their episodes). I can't think of the name of it right now, though.

Well make sure to tell me if you'll remember what the name of the song is

I read some anti Ryan Lindsay opinions over the net the last few days, some people were saying that Lindsay was bad for Ryan because like Marissa she had many issues and dragged him with her to all her drama.

I can't really agree with that. I mean, sure she had issues (and I do wish they would have at least give her and Ryan some time to establish their relationship more before damping all that drama on them) but it didn’t feel like Ryan was drag to do any thing he didn’t want to do, while with Marissa is felt like Ryan had to do stuff for Marissa or else she will get hurt.

I do wish that Ryan and Lindsay had been able to have more issue-free time together. But I don't think that Lindsay dragged Ryan into her issues. If anything, she tried to keep him out of things, like when she told him after Chrismakkuh that she needed some time away from his family. When you care about someone, you're going to want to help them out when they're having a hard time, and Ryan in particular is the sort to want to jump in and fix problems. But I think that's different than having someone drag you in to problems and make things more dramatic and difficult than they have to be.

And ultimately, Lindsay could make it on her own. She was independent. Sure, she wanted to be with Ryan (and who could blame her? ), but push come to shove, she would be able to deal with things on her own if she had to.

Yes, I agree. Also if Lindsay made a mistake it wasn’t as old as Marissa who made the same mistake over and over again and at the end when she left (as sad as it was) she made the right decision, and in my opinion, she had one of the best send off for a guess character (only secondary to Anna's S1 sand off).

I really liked the independent side of her, I also love it that she was a "real person" she wasn’t the perfect California girl, she was dorky and cute, she didn’t eat cheeseburgers for lunch and still stayed thin, she had problems in her life but they were real and not self-caused. I thought she was pretty relatable.

Yeah, I always found Lindsay to be a pretty realistic character. Even her nervousness about whether or not to date the cute guy (who she couldn't quite believe liked her back) was believable.
