| In my opinion, the show never did as much as it could have to explore Ryan's issues, especially after the first season. I honestly think that they thought that if they'll give out too much there will be no point to the show (which I kind of agree with since the show is basically Ryan's story) The problem is that they waited so much that the end of the show seemed so rushed (for every one). I really wished that Trey would have come back and I hated how they dealt with Ryan's dad after "My two dads" episode.
