Since Carter’s been gone, Kirsten has been drinking more than just tomato juice for breakfast and when Sandy questions her, he’s left alone in the bedroom. When Marissa acts nervous around Ryan, he wonders if something has happened between Marissa and Trey. Summer, tired of Seth and Zach acting foolish, confronts Reed about the graphic novel and finds herself center stage at the “Atomic County” launch party.
Meanwhile, Caleb shows Julie that a picture is worth a thousand words
on “The Showdown” episode of THE O.C

Over all a pretty good episode but I'm not liking where they are taking the whole T/M/R storyline. As a fan of Trey/Ryan's frienship and the possible pairing of Marissa/Trey (well it was more likely before the return of the nana eppy) I don't like that they way the writers seem to be playing it, that it's going to be all or nothing. Now I'm not going to be crushed if R/M break up because I can honestly say I've never been a fan of the pair but my main concern is how Trey is going to be able to redeem himself in Ryan's eyes. Ryan is going to have some huge choices to make soon, who to believe, who to stick with etc. It's going to be interesting.

And on a shallow note Ryan/Ben was looking mighty fine last night. The best he's looked all season imo.

I agree I don't like the way it's going and I really want Trey to stay in the picture

I've never been a M/R fan either but I kind of like them together now!
