I was shocked that we found out about Caleb today. I was also surprised it appears to be a legitimate death and not Julie induced! I thought for sure that would have been saved all of that until next week. I admit to being sad to see Caleb go since I loved to hate him! But...life goes on! I hope Kirsten's drinking causes a confrontation between her and Ryan. (And I want a BIG confrontation)! I'd love to see him read her the riot act since he came to Newport for a better life - he's already done the alcoholic Mom scene. It's only reasonable that he'd get PO'd when he finds out the truth behind her accident. I also admit that I'm growing tired of all the 'games' between Seth, Summer and Zach. It's getting old. Ironically, it looks like we're going to end this season the same as last year, with the Cohen household torn to shreds. Bring on Season 3...I'm already dreading the hiatus!!!

ITA. That is where the story should be. Focused on the Cohens trying to work through this. Instead it looks like the Seth/Ryan and gang will continue to have their own story while Sandy/Kirsten and the 'adults' will get to enjoy this story. Don't get me wrong I love Trey and do enjoy the damage he is causing with the younger set but I'm dying to see Ryan confront Kirsten about this or even talk to Sandy or Seth. I mean this has to open up some old wounds for him. He respects Kirsten so much and to have her end up barely better then his own mother. I'm hoping from all this we will get a strong intervention episode (I'm thinking like Party of Five with Baily's drinking) Just the core family members (By this I obviously include Ryan. ), some yelling, crying etc.

Loved when Caleb was argueing with Kirsten he said what about your kids? I can't remember Caleb actually including Ryan that way before.

Ryan/Theresa! I love those two together so much. I was such a nice and sweet scene and I liked how they mentioned Ryan had been writing her letters. I was hoping that he just didn't pack up and move back to Newport without looking back. ...and he has a baby boy. (Yes I know I'm one of the very few who want the baby to be Ryan's. So until they tell us one way or the other. I'm sticking with Ryan as the daddy. )

Ryan and Trey are so heartbreaking. Ryan wants to believe in him so much. Ben did a wonderful job with that scene.

I'll skip over my thought on Ryan/Marissa because well they aren't pleasent.

Seth/Summer/Zack...I really don't care at this point. Yes the prom scene was cute but they've mixed and matched these two so much in the last little while that I jsut really don't care.

Caleb/Julie....Did her drink have the pills in it to? Because she was waiting for Caleb to dring his first and then she put hers down to change Calebs so maybe he drank hers instead. Glad she decided she couldn't do it.

Ryan/Seth, totally not enough scenes between the two of them tonight but the first one was so funny and cute. Poor Ryan does the boy ever get any sleep?

Ryan/Jess...I can't believe I'm about to say this but...I like these two.

IMHO, Ryan has tolerated an AWFUL LOT since moving to Newport. While it seems to be in his character to be the 'silent sufferer', I keep waiting (and hoping) that something at some point just sets him off to the point of no return...and I'm hoping Kirsten's drinking triggers that explosion!

Also, conveniently tied to 'anger management'...I'm also waiting for Ryan to go postal on his brother! That is LONG overdue! That boy needs a reality check!

I also agree that I like the hostile thing going on between Ryan and Jess! Lots of potential for trouble there! (And I like the trouble!)!

I totally agree about Seth, Summer and Zach - enough already

Ryan does need to have an explosive outburst - he's been way too passive recently!

Can't wait for tonight!
