Benjamin McKenzie - Ryan Atwood: Hopes and Predictions for season 3

It's a looong summer and we need more discussion on the board! So what better to discuss than what we hope to see in Season 3 for Ryan and how we'd like for Ben to grow as an actor.

This thread is for talking about what we'd like to happen not for posting spoilers.

My season 3 hopes:

We all know how season 2 ended. It would be good to see Ryan deal with the events of the finale. If it turns out that Trey is dead then I can see him being angry with Trey but at the same time mourning his brothers death. If he's alive then I want Ryan to forgive him but I don't see the likelyhood of that

They have to bring the baby in, Ryan needs to deal with the baby storyline once and for all. I don't think there will be a romance between him and Theresa again, she would make a great friend for him in newport.

I'd love if they made Ben and Adam take part in some surfing storylines, or at least see Ben out on the beach. They live in newport! We need beach scenes!

I love Nikki's idea.

But in a perfect O.C I'd like to see Trey and Ryan work on their relationship and Ryan forgive Trey. (Still refusing to believe Trey is dead so work with me people

) Since I doubt we would ever get Ryan/Seth then Ryan/Theresa have to work out all the baby drama and live happily ever after. Marissa is just never seen or heard from again, Ryan even doubts she was ever real.

....oh and yes a lot of beach scenes with the guys.

I can't believe what I'm going to say but after the horrible Maryan come back I'm starting to miss Lindsay (and that's bad because I really hate her). I hope Ryan to get a girl and have a good relationship. I'm huge Marissa fan but I think that she doesn't work with Ryan anymore.

I got crazy when Ryan in the last episode said THE TRUTH: That he had tried all year to be someone he is not. I'm crossing my fingers for Ryan to be a bad boy again and not the softy newport kid of season 2.

Season 3 defently needs beach scenes and of course, parties!!!.

I agree with you Butteryfly girl, it would be nice to see a mix of the bad boy Ryan we had in season 1 and the good boy in season 2. Parties are a must, even though all the parties with Ryan ended up with punch ups.

1. I would like Sandy and Kirsten to adopt Ryan.
2. I would like to know more about Ryan's past and especially his father that we never saw and he hardly talk about.
3. I miss the "bad boy Ryan" i would like to see some "bad boy" scene's, maybe of him smoking (Ammmm so sexy

).
4.I would like the baby not be Ryan's.
5.I would like Ryan to get a college scholarship.
6.I would like alot more scene's with Ryan and Seth coz those scene's are the best !!!!
7.I would like this season to focus more on the family's (especially the cohen's) and less on the couple's relationship.
8.I would like Ryan and marissa to finally have sex.
9.I would like Trey not to die, coz he's the best and the hottes character that we got all during the 2th season.

I know ... and that bothers me because there is so much potential if Seth and Ryan swapped there girlfriends. If anything, could they have a "what if" type of episode. Sandy married to Julie, Kirsten to Jimmy, Seth/Marissa, and Ryan/Summer. I mean ... come on, that would be cool.

I loved the "what if" episode of One Tree Hill, so that would be an awesome idea . . . Except, I really don't see Sandy married to Julie because they would probably kill each other.

Ryan forgive Trey? He nearly raped Marissa and almost killed Ryan?! Let's not forget all the crap he did in the past

Sorry, I just can't even imagine that. Just my opinion.

I would love a "What if" episode. I've been dying to see Ben and Rachel work together more. So much potential.
