Stefan is my favorite character too.
 Damon is really overrated to me.  I noticed that people who have Seth as a favorite on The OC tend to have Damon as their favorite on TVD. People who like Ryan better tend to like Stefan better. It's just a trend I noticed! __________________

Yeah, Stefan is a lot like Ryan imo. He's like the vampire version.
 He's a brooding, tortured soul who always tries to do the right thing. This is part of the reason I always thought it was so cool that Paul Wesley and Ben McKenzie were such great friends in real life. I remember Paul once saying that he likes the Ryan character too in some audio interview, but I wish I still had it.  And yeah, I noticed some fans of Ryan like Stefan and some fans of Stefan like Ryan. And fans of Damon seem to be huge Seth fans when it comes to The OC, though Damon and Seth are nothing alike.
