Yeah, count me in as not wanting Ben to have one. I like how it is now; Ben keeping it mysterious but we still getting little messages from him via Michael

And I agree with all who said they don't really want Ben to have a twitter. I don't really want him to get one either. I don't feel it goes with his personality.

I like mysterious too!

Should we tell Michael to tell Ben that?

Hmm, no I don't think we should say anything, Ben should do what he feel is right for him.

ITA. It should totally be his own decision. Michael's been very lucky that for the most part his followers are respectful and everyone has fun and a good laugh together. I think it's a possibility Ben would have to sort through a lot of stuff from OC fans thinking there should be a reunion, etc.

imagine, he's going to show affection with his gf on twitter. ( "sweetie! miss you!" then " mmm! XOXO" in return. just like some showbiz stars did. ) some fans wouldn't like to see that i guess. welll i'm just kidding.

That's exactly why I don't want him to get one. Besides, as I already said... it's just NOT him. He doesn't strike me as a twitter kind of guy and I don't think she should change that just to please some of his fans.

I completely agree with you guys. Michael having a twitter is one thing. Ben, OTOH... totally different.
Just look at how many weirdos asked Michael for Ben's personal email address to send him some...uhm... "pictures". People are more bound to cross the line with Ben than with Michael, and I think Ben 's aware of that. I hope everything stays just the way it is now, with Michael as a protective wall between Ben and all the way too enthusiastic so-called fans.

This is exactly how I see it. Ben is a very private person and that's good. It's enough, when we see the occasional picture or he makes a sarcastic comment via Michaels twitter.

He already did a radio interview once where he was asked "Is it true that you hated Mischa?" or something to that affect (maybe it was "is it true that Mischa was hard to work with) to which he said that it was inappropriate question and refused to answer it.

I can totally see people doing it on twitter too. Which is why I agree that it's not a good idea for him to have one.

Though, he doesn’t have to interact with people like Michael does, he can do what Autumn Reeser does and only post every week or two and never replay to followers.
