So Ben has played a Johnny twice, he's played a Ryan, I forgot his name on 88 minutes (was it Michael or Matthew... just remember last name was Kent or Kemp or something), and Ben (his own name). They have to come up with some original names for Ben's characters. I bet you he'll play a "Ryan" in his next movie, and I'll be thinking: I haven't seen Johnny Got His Gun. I always wanted to, but I had/have absolutely no idea where to find it (I've tried already). I've also never seen 88 minutes. It's not my kind of movie... if I ever saw it, I'd try to watch only the scenes Ben was in, but I don't have the movie, nor do I know how or where to download it.


And I don't think the pics I posted were from the time you all are saying when Ben got picked as Joe. It said on a site where I found them that it was Ben arriving at some restaurant in LA in February of 2008. He did Johnny Got His Gun way before that, didn't he? Or am I wrong about what I read on the site?

In 88 Minutes, Ben played Mike Stempt. In Jonny Got His Gun, he played Joe Bonham. He did play a John in The Eight Percent and Junebug.

I am pretty sure the pics were from the same night, but it was when he was walking and whistling going down the street.

JGHG was a fantastic movie. Ben was amazing in it. I am hoping they release it so I can see it again. 88 Minutes was good too, suspenseful, plus I like Pacino so I would have watched even if Ben wasn't in it.

My bad. Thanks for correcting me! I had read all the stuff about JGHG like over a year ago, but I guess somehow I forgot the name of the character he played since I haven't seen the movie. Where can I see it? As already stated, I looked everywhere and got nowhere. Maybe I'll see 88 Minutes eventually just for him (I will definitely see the parts he's in though). I like Al Pacino, but I'm not the biggest fan of thrillers like 24 (the plot somehow didn't interest me). I Junebug. He should do more movies like Junebug!

And I have seen pics of him whistling and walking down the street, but he's wearing a sort of similar, but different outfit. Are you sure you're not referring to this (because the other pics, it literally says it's him about to arrive at a restaurant Feb. of last year, which is post-JGHG). If I'm wrong, I stand corrected.



PS- Ben looks so goofy in that pic goodperson posted... the face he's making at least. I'm not a fan of that hairstyle. Surprisingly, I like the boots though... just NOT WITH THAT SUIT!!!! Totally doesn't match... Well, as someone pointed out beneath the pic, the boots DID match his hair sort of... at least. Haha. He's still cute though.
