I know this is a little further ahead in the series that we’ve been doing, but what do people think about rewatching Je Souhaite next? It’s the genie episode from season 7, and it’s a really fun one  __________________

It really was one of the more intense teasers they ever did, especially when you have no idea what’s going in and why they end up shooting themselves instead

I remember how much I loved this deep trust between Scully and Mulder that showed even at this early stage of their partnership...
And the tension with everyone possibly being infected... so good  __________________

Just finished my rewatch! You can tell that Gillian was having so much fun with this one, all of Scully’s reactions were so cute
And aww I loved Mulder’s little smile too at how much Scully was loving this when he left her alone with her invisible man  And singing along with the theme song, only to loudly point out that Barbara Eden never killed anyone And the actress who played the genie was perfect, I loved how sarcastic and world weary she came off as. All of the twists on the wishes made sense when you think about it, if you wish to turn invisible then that probably is really dangerous when other people can’t see anything there And Mulder wishing for peace in earth, well he should have seen that coming  Aww, what a perfect ending that Mulder came up with for her though Great M/S final scene too with Scully telling Mulder that he’s made her happy __________________

I remember I was a bit confused when I first watched it as it wasn't quite clear what he had wished for yet
Jenn was perfect. I loved how annoyed she was by the brothers' stupidity __________________

Those two were so funny with how dumb they were, the genie couldn't believe that neither of them thought to ask to cure his disability
Another cute bit was when Scully was trying to tell the scientists that he's definitely still in there, he's just invisible, and she was feeling around for him  __________________
