The first time my younger brother and I watched 'Bad Blood', we laughed to tears through the entire episode. The teaser was the funniest teaser in all X-Files history. I didn't remember until recently though that Luke Wilson played the sheriff. It was an original idea for a story, having Mulder and Scully tell two different versions of a story and at the same time, revealing to the audience how they perceived one another.

I totally agree. This epsiode was just just perfect in every way. Maybe not a classic X-files, but so immensely amusing. I just loved Mulder's/David's facial expressions in that eppy - hilarious!

I LOVED Bad Blood, one of my favorite episodes of the series so far. Definetely my favorite of season 5. Just such a hillarious episode!

I have got to say, in picture 4, Mulder and Scully have the best smiles on.

And black and white was a great effect for this episode. When I first saw it, I thought my TV was screwed up.

And yep, and the fact that they have so less opportunity on the show to smile makes it even more special.

Does anyone else think when Mulder says he's half dead, he says that after he sees Scully.? He's half-dead because Scully is sick

or is it just my shippery eyes.

i think he says it before he sees Scully.. im having a bit of a memory malfunction at the moment lol.. but i would love it if there was special meaning like that behind it

Yeah, but he already knows she's in the ICU (which means she's in pretty bad condition). But you can interpret that line in different ways.

It's like he's saying that Scully is a part of him and if she dies a part of him will die with her...

I think that maybe he already knew that Scully was in a bad way when he got to the hospital, and maybe already knew how bad the cancer was starting to affect her body (I'm also forgetting that bit as well!)

I just rewatched Christmas Carol and Emily the other day, so sad! Great episodes, and I love Mulders Mr Potato Head impression

GA was great in this two parter, really got a chance to see a softer side of Scully (not that she's hard but you know what I mean).
