 Mulder in his red speedo... hello!  The pool arrived today, it's going to be "interesting" setting up all the parts without me screwing it up if I survive the frustration if things don't end up perfectly working, I'll be swimming by next week!  __________________

What's wrong with the weather? It's hard to spend all day long in a red Speedo. Rain in the morning, then full on sun in the early afternoon, and then rain again in the evening. Can someone please make up their mind???

I guess at some point even something good can be a bit too much. I enjoy the occasional bit of water from above. Keeps everything green and hydrated Plus even though I love hot summer days I'm really not made for them. Get dizzy really fast and get a heat stroke really quickly even when I avoid the sun A pool like yours could help but I don't have my own gard - just a balcony. One more reason for me to come and go for a swim in yours  ETA you are too fast for me: Stewie, then you probably did something else  Leanne, don't jinx it And I am not good in a soloist kind of way, but I have been singing in choirs for 20 years now so I can carry a tune and mix well with other voices.  Good enough for this kind of thing but not in any professional capacity. Just for fun.__________________

Do you guys have air conditioning in Germany cause I heard in England they tend not to. I can't imagine being in hot summer without A/C now, I'm so spoiled.
Yes, we all need to come here, have dips in my pool and then in August, start stalking all the X-Files on location shoots and take spy pictures. fun times!__________________

I just edited my message further upwith more info and you are already on page 2 of the thread!!! No air conditioning here, but we really only get a few tropically hot days here. So no problem. ETA Well, air conditioning is rare in homes, but companies sometimes have them. __________________

Actually, at a lot of public offices in Germany, AC is illegal, since it uses too much energy.

I'm glad the OT thread is seeing signs of life again. The last thread was the slowest thing I've seen in the forum. I used to go through a few of them just last summer! I guess summer brings out the spare time!
