Yeah, my trip was great! I got to meet up with an old high school buddy, and we went out dancing the way we used to in our college days. I also went tubing, but my freaking tube went ahead of everybody else and dropped me off on the other side of the river from all my friends. My boyfriend had to come get me, and my stupid cousin found that hilarious, so he videotaped it. We also went record shopping which I hadn't done in a long while. And I discovered the awesomeness of a Red Robin burger!!! Oh and we took a boat ride on the Riverwalk, but the sun was beating down on us so hard and it was so humid that when we finally got up, it looked like we had peed in our pants.

I'm about to check out the MotW thread now. Thanks for taking care of that while I was away!

well, that's embarrassing about the pants! It makes you want to tell everyone "it's just the humidity!" While they just eye roll like "yeah right!" but tubing sounds fun, I've never done that before in my life but sounds thrilling! Do you have a record player? I have records and a player but I never use them!

I've always been curious to try an "In 'n Out" burger all the CA people rave about. Red Robin is good, next time you visit Canada or BC, try a White Spot burger.

And I was the only one wearing a life jacket. Everybody else knew how to swim. You should definitely try tubing! I love it, but next time I'll do it in the fall.

In and Out Burger isn't all that great if you ask me -it's a fast food joint after all. Maybe it's because those celebrities that rave about it never get to eat burgers in the first place, so the first burger they eat makes them go nuts.

White Spot Burger? I'm going to have to look that up.

Oh, yes, I think White Spot restaurant is unique to BC and they have great burgers!

Of course, we both have record players and records, the random things we have in common almost won't surprise me much longer

Yes, and my list keeps growing everyday! Are you planning on using an X-Files themed custom title? Hope we get to use one in October as well.

My cats act scared at first, as if I'm a complete stranger. Then they warm up to me.

Yeah, I figured I would use a X-Files custom title even though no one would know it, haha. But even tho I've won real contests before, I'm not thinking I'll win this one but I'm looking forward to this mysterious October anniversary stuff!
