I agree, Claire, Sweden's numbers improved recently but with just 10 million inhabitants they had more than 5,500 deaths so there is nothing about what they did that I would like to copy.

They even had more cases per 100,000 inhabitants but they were luckier with the overall outcome.

With all the things that we have learned about the virus so far it still feels like there is a lot of luck involved and that makes me anxious about the fall.

We had only 13 cases here last week and suddenly there are more than 100 again. I hope they can keep it contained.

On a happier note: I have been to church for the first time since the pandemic started. It was thoroughly weird and we weren't allowed to sing but it was really nice.

That's true right now, but the UK's response was not the best.

I think the US suffers from a lack of a coordinated response. New York has suppressed the virus like we have.

I accept that, Kia. But I just meant research there showed little input from schools on the numbers. There really isn't a right way of handling this though. There are many consequences whichever approach a country takes.

That's really low, Kia! Sounds like Scotland, they have very low numbers there. To be fair the parts of this country with high numbers are still relatively low, but it's hard to control this the more people move around.

Hi guys! Busy week here with my family and on Saturday we took my nephew to the zoo with everyone! My brother even bought tickets for Jon and I so we could join. Jon was skeptical at first as we have been to that zoo recently but I said I dont get to see my family much so I really wanted to go. It was a lot of fun, but you forget a zoo is not as exciting for a toddler! Every animal he saw he didnt want to leave and he started picking up stones from the floor

I showed my nephew the little ponies and talked to him about them.

It was a great week ane during the evenings I drank with my brother and chilled all together.

I leave for our mini break next weekend so got stuff to sort tnis week and pick up a few odd bits.

He hasn’t had it happen today though. I just hope it was a scratch or dry air cause of the air purifier?

Well, I’m packed up for tomorrow, I’ll be gone mostly doing things and taking a breather, but I plan to still post in this thread when I have evening time!
