Hi Kim :hug: that makes me sick to hear about April being taken away instead of loved and nurtured :bawl: what a cold woman who was your egg donor! :rant: I’m hoping she wouldn’t have been put to sleep cause at my animal shelter, they still care for seniors and some people do adopt them.. but if she is in the next life, I’m sure she’s having the best time with cuddles and love and all the things kitties love in their heaven til we come along to rejoin them :love: :cat:

The family party upstairs has t quite started yet but probably any minute since it’s the dinner hour!

Claire, those sound like great gifts for you. I always wanted to have beef Wellington but I still have t even though I’ve been in Britain like 3 times still!

Kia, I think we do get along better now, she doesn’t barge or unlock into my place and I’m more used to their noise, I guess. My pet peeve is still them keeping windows and doors open for flies and insects to come in. I think some medications cause “the munchies”.

Mark, that will be fun for you to have a new video game to play. I can’t play them cause I can never pass certain levels so I tend to watch play through on YouTube instead :lol:

That's one thing I'll never understand about some countries. Here no vet would even consider putting a healthy animal down just because it is older.
That's so cruel... humans playing God... shelters would take them and try to make sure people know he or she can be adopted. And if you wannabe adopt a pet there are several things you have to do and a home inspection to make sure the pet is going to a good home...
I am so angry right now... I don't really know what to say...
If someone had taken my dog and put him down while I was away because of reasons beyond my control... I would have lost it. . And I probably would have hurt people...

Oh no, Kim! I feel so sick right now. Is there anyway you can contact the animal control people to find out what happened? Your mother makes me sick, I don't understand how anyone can be so cruel.

Same here, Kia. My first cats were older ones from a shelter, and they had a good few years with us. They were such affectionate cats!

I think I'll always get pets that way. It's great to give them a home. Our other cats were in a shelter too, and were great pets.

We only ever had dogs in my family. The one I grew up with was from a farm nearby (don't think there was a shelter anywhere close) and my own dog, Barney, was a puppy I got from a punk living in an illegal trailer park. :lol: Not shelter-dogs but kinda close enough I think.

Sick animals are hard to deal with :( putting them to sleep because they’re older? There should be a penalty for that.

Leanne the great thing about MK is you can play single VS matches so you don’t have to do an entire gameplay that’s why I only play fighting games

It’s now pouring rain today!

I have a little turkey dinner for my family Easter but a lot of my family won’t be there, oh well, I prefer small groups.

The first cat we got from a farm too! I got my current boy from the shelter though when he was already grown at 3 or 4 yrs old. He noticed me first and staked his claim on me from another cat.

This is my last day off from work until late May so I’m trying to enjoy it :lol:

Now I am watching some Black Summer while organizing my day... and checking in on emails and :ff: ;)...
I am waiting for the weird humour that is so typical of Z Nation but so far nothing. I suspect it may come later when the people are more used to zombies bieng everywhere and to killing them - you know, like gallows humour - but it may just end up having a totally different, more serious feel about it.
We'll see.

I think I may have to get my plants inside. One of my really heavy chairs out there got blown over :eek: :gone:

Another day another go around with my roommate. My counselor said it's wrong of the people here to try and be fair-blaming both of us. She said only Margaret is to blame, and they need to be accountable so she doesn't think I'm behaving like her. Yes, babbling again I know. :blah: :thud:

Hi Kim. The kids are back to school,and I was back to my normal routine yesterday. The weather is cooler than the weekend, and very dry.
