Thanks for the new thread, Leanne.

I used to start a lot of threads on the Third Watch board. Started one on EL&I the other day when I realized it needed it. I just don't know how to make the links into words-I just post the link in the last page of the thread, with New Thread written above it.

I think watching would be a great way to ease yourself into the reading with the kids. In school they did that all the time, and I loved taking turns reading.

Here's my last post from the other thread, in case I missed answering y'all about anything...

Yeah, I'm thinking of it, even though its a hassle to bring my cat over and not sure if I will enjoy sleeping in another place or having any of my own stuff around to use or read or watch!

Plus its the city I don't live in, so I'm not totally familiar, although I guess I could explore it more.

A couple of classes are in here and all the people here are making it feel hot in the room. I need fresh air

Hope I can stay awake for X-Files tonight since I had a short night, it was silly cause I tried to keep going back to sleep but I just moved around and nothing happened! Can't wait for the break and can sleep in til I want

Exploring is fun. Surprisingly, for the way my mind works, I have a really good sense of direction, so I always had fun getting out and driving, and finding new things. I think you'd have a lot of fun.

Kim, it was good, but my usual thing of when I sleep 4 hours is starting up.... where I feel like I need a nap, lie down and feel a little sick like I don't want to eat anything. I still have 3.5 hours to go here! The kids are leaving at 1:30 pm so it will be a quiet afternoon. (That might not be so good, if it's too quiet, I might feel even more sleepy or lethargic )

Yeah, this city has a big large bookstore, a mall to explore, at least two pho restaurants and a historic village shopping area where tv shows frequently film cause it has character. Bates Motel filmed there a lot.

I still haven't put away my clothes in the laundry basket!

Being good with kids is something people have to learn, its not something someone can just suddenly do I find Sometimes it can be as simple as just interacting with the children and easing yourself into it, like that.
