My cat would definitely have eaten them. She goes mad over that kind of thing. Personally I wouldn't take the chance just in case he's licked some of them.

That's good news, Theresa. I hope you have more help soon.

Yorkshire puddings are nice. Yorkshire is a lovely county/area too.

Glad you're home, Kia. I'm sure you are tired after that!

I just went on a walk with my husband and my leg started to hurt so we cut it short, but I'm hopeful we'll build up some strength in it.

Leanne, I guess that depends on how much of a problem you'd have with the cat having licked it
I would probably throw the stuff out.

Claire, I guess patience is key again. Not an easy task

Well, its dumb, but good thing I bought an extra bag! He usually never pulls out bags of snacks I fold up in my coffee table but this time, he surprised me!! Well, maybe they are stale as well since I don't know how long the bag stayed open!

Kia, its possible I dreamed of trains cause you mentioned train riding

Claire, I'm amazed how long it takes to heal from that!!

A muscle injury like this takes six weeks to heal and it's only been five, but I'm trying to make sure I get the flexibility and strength back as it heals, so that it heals in the right way. I still limp first thing in the morning as the muscle always stiffens up during the night. I will get there eventually.

Oh well, Leanne. There's not much you can do about it.

I need to go put some deep heat on my leg now....

Leanne, your story reminds me of a stunt my dog once pulled. Barney never touched my stuff but one night he ate chocolate and a lot of it while I was gone. I had to call the poison help line They asked for his weight and the amount of chocolate missing and the cocoa percentage and told me he'd have a tummy ache but it wasn't life-threatening Our little furry friends... never a dull moment

Claire - I read on OT that you're possibly going to London next week? Will you be physically ok to walk around London?

Kia - hiya, hope you're well hun. This week's been tough for me too.

Hi Kim also

Sounds like it has been really stressful

That would stress me out, Kia! Thinking my cat ate something poisonous has happened a few times...like thinking he may have licked some drain cleaner under the sink or detergent or got lily pollen on his fur and licked it. So far, he's ok, and its been me getting carried away in worry. I still don't like him licking water on the floor of my shower cause he's developed that habit now! I keep thinking about possible shampo residue, or soap or if I clean the shower floor, he will lick whatever is left after that!!

I've paid for a ticket to see a show in London with a group of friends Friday next week, Theresa. I am starting to worry whether I'll be up to it. I do have a week before then though, and each week I've been a lot better, and at least I'll be over the 6 week mark by then. I do think there's a chance I'll have to stay home, though.

Lucky your dog was ok, Kia.

Sorry, I didn't mean to worry you. I can't imagine that there are many things in a house that cats can access and that are deadly
But I only know about dogs and coffee, cocoa, grapes and all the other dangers out there. I have never had a cat but I'm sure your kitty is doing just fine

ETA yes, very lucky, Claire. He was huge so he would have had to eat a crazy amount of chocolate for it to be dangerous I only enjoy telling the story of my curious sweet puppy because nothing bad happened Also I was very impressed they could help me at the hotline. It was one usually used by parents but apparently I wasn't the first dog owner to call.

ETA It's ridiculously early but I can't keep my eyes open. Night!

I went to bed around 8, and got woken up before 9am, then went back to bed about 11am, and slept till 2pm.

Then my friend in Wales called me, and we talked for an hour. So, HI everyone!

Kia, I'm glad you got home, and I can understand why you're tired. Sleep well.

Claire, I hope you're able to go on your trip. How is your leg feeling tonight?

Theresa, I'm sorry you had a bad day yesterday, but you're right, it's almost Friday.

Leanne, I hate that you didn't sleep well.

I had strange dreams, but I can't really remember the details.

I wish I could call you, Kim, but I don't have a long distance plan

Wow, can I borrow some of your sleep? I'm sipping a can of coke and don't know how people can drink several per day cause I'm wondering if I'll finish mine at all

Goodnight, Kia, nice you can go to bed and sleep!

I remain hopeful, Kim. I'll have to see how I feel at the time.

Sleep well, Kia.

Good to see you, Kim. Glad you're rested now.

I really don't like coke, so I couldn't, Leanne. I'm not fond of any fizzy drinks.

Leanne, soda just isn't good to some people. I have a free long distance plan, but only for in the States. Maybe one day.

I'm crossing my fingers for you, Claire. I know you're looking forward to it, and want to be fully healed again.

Thanks. I'm starting to wonder if I caught something out yesterday, or if it's just disrupted sleep.

I mostly only drink fizzy drinks-diet soda (too much sugar in the regular), or fizzy water.
