Oh good! I'm so glad you didn't try to take a train back after that procedure.

Try and get some sleep, or at least a nap.

I don't know. I just woke up wide awake.

I thought that was early for you, Kim. I wish there was a neighbour or someone who could fetch those things for you.

I hope you're feeling ok, Kia. That does sound scary for sure!

I'm having to take it easy today.

Yeah, I'm already feeling like a nap.

Definitely take it easy today, Claire. That's smart on your part.

What are you watching? Anything?

I'm waiting for Charmed to come on in half an hour. It may put me to sleep.

I'm watching a documentary about the Emergency Department at a main London hospital. It's making me cry.

I think I'll have a hot bath later to help my leg.

I'll bet you do: you've been up half the night. I had weird dreams about being in a house with loads of leaks in the roof, and water pouring everywhere, and my husband saying he can't fix it, and it's my fault it's leaking in the first place. I seem to often have weird dreams involving houses having things wrong with them.

Aw, oh no.

Maybe the water was because of the leaking radiator and the faucet in the kitchen?

Yeah, I've been up half the night, and now I've gotten a 2nd wind, so nap time will be later than I expected.

Could be related to that for sure, Kim. One of those dreams you wake up from, and not only is it totally daft, but also you're glad isn't reality.

I don't mind crying at it. I love this show for showing how people cope with life changing conditions and injuries. It's quite uplifting really.

Ugh, k woke up at 3:30 am and now it's almost 5 am and I'm doing that thinking about sad things so I can't go back to sleep and I don't want to go to work again with waking up at 3:30 am for the day.

Well, I better try but it's so hard to not think of the sad stuff when there is no distractions to try to get to sleep.

Oh dear, not you too, Leanne! I hope you thought of something happy to distract yourself.

Thanks for the new thread!

Sorry I wasn't on yesterday - had a pretty bad day at work but I am much better now, and had a better day.

Jon text me to say he got home OK - he took the midnight bus to Yorkshire then went home as he got no sleep, obviously!

I stayed late at work to get this paperwork done, it was hanging over my head so I just wanted to finish it.

Sounds like a long night for him then!

I'm sorry you had a bad day. Are you still without much help there?

Claire, somehow I managed to get back to sleep. But then I dreamed of a stressful thing where I was taking a train home, but then skipped my stop before the final stop accidently and then I forgot my stuff and my bag on the train when I left it so I was trying to backtrack and get back without a vehicle and hoping no one stole my bag. And the night before that, I had a dream where I was trying to pack in less than an hour before leaving on a trip and so frantic to make sure my passport was where I thought it was and where to leave my cat for babysitting!! I think I'm over stress-y dreams already!

Theresa, sorry about the bad day!!

Whenever I hear someone say Yorkshire, I think about Yorkshire pudding!!

Look back a few posts Leanne, and you'll see I had a similar stressed dream, too.

I often have dreams like that where I'm travelling and there are endless problems, and I never get to the destination. I hate dreams like that.

I haven't had Yorkshire pudding for a long time...

I dont know why he chose to take the midnight bus

Thanks, yes still no help. But my head was doing interviews all day today so potentially could have 2 extra adults for my class.

I love yorkshire pudding too. He's sent me pics. Yorkshire is very pretty and nice but last time we travelled together, he felt torn between spending time with his family and me so I thought it was better he go alone this time.

Ok, well, I have a question of "What would you do?"

I woke up and found my cat had got into my potato chip bag from last night. It didn't look like he ate any chips though. But it looked open and maybe he licked the inner bag or some chips. My question is, should I just throw out a bag with about half of the chips still left? Or just try not to think about it and not waste my remaining chips? Since I really don't know what he may have licked or not licked?
