Morning, Stewie!

No problem, Theresa.

Pouring with rain here today. I'm taking my cat to the vet in an hour.

I think most people do no research in how to raise kids. I rarely have to raise my voice to my kids, and I can't remember the last time I had to use any kind of consequences. It's not a miracle or down to their temperament, it's down to putting in the hard work when they're little.

Thanks for the new thread, Leanne!

I've never used a drive through... But then I don't like McDonalds food.

Yes it was the new Lucifer, Kim. I get each episode of that straight away on Amazon Prime.

TFTNT

And I sometimes use the drive-through but I have become more careful. Last time I ordered a verggie burger they got me beef which I only noticed when I was back on the motorway and had already had a huge bite Mind you, I am a veggie. I was furious but I was in a hurry and couldn't go back.

Claire, sounds like you did a good job with your kids
Hope your cat doesn't get too stressed out about the vet.

Hey Stewie! How are you?

That does sound very annoying to be given the wrong thing.

Thanks Kia!
She was ok. Fortunately it was over very quick this time, we didn't have to wait long and the appointment was very quick too. When we got back she sat on my lap for about two hours straight, so she clearly wanted a cuddle when we got in!

I just walked to the bank and supermarket. It's nice to be able to do that! I got more cat litter, for some reason all the shops sold out of cat litter with the snow. I have a wheeled shopping trolley so I didn't have to carry the heavy bag.

And the cuddle was well deserved Poor thing.

And it's very smart to use a shopping trolley I usually take my bike because I have two big bags attached to it.

BTW finished Lie to me and the shipper in me is a bit disappointed

I used to watch that, but I don't think I ever got to the last part. The first season was great, though.

Yeah. I nearly forgot I had the trolley!

Looking forward to getting a kitchen tap later today.

TFTNT Leanne.

Claire! You must be excited. You're getting so much done. It's your turn not to spoil me, on Lucifer.

A lot of people definitely do not research on having kids. It's really sad. I'm glad your kitty was good, and that the vet was fast.

Kia that sucks! I would be so furious, too, if I were you. That's just unacceptable.

I've never heard of Lie to Me. Is it a show?

I just popped in to say hi, and catch up with you guys. I'm heading off to get ready to go to Walmart.

I'll be using the trolley there. Is that what you call the rolling carts with a seat there, too? Walmart is a fairly big store, and I don't think I'm ready for walking that yet. Hopefully there will be one available there.

Have a good early afternoon there, and I'll see y'all when I get back.

I'm not sure what I'd call one of the ride on ones, to be honest.

Yeah, Lie to Me was a show which very interesting at first, and it's concept was a group of people helping the police by understanding facial expressions and body language. The story telling went downhill for me, when it became too much about the character's lives rather than about solving the crimes, though.

They only produced 3 seasons, around 50 episodes.
The concept is fascinating And the Lightman Group is based on an actual company that does that kind of work.

Kim, hope your trip went well!

That's nice.
How is your day going?

My hump day was fine. Went to the library to give the book back. Brought home two new ones. More of the thriller variety this time. May get to read a bit on my way to the syringe appointment tomorrow.

My computer is driving me batty. I restarted it, and everything is huge. My computer icons, my font, my links. I never restart it, I just put it on sleep. Any suggestions?

Edited-never mind. I got it fixed.

Thanks for the info on Lie To Me you guys.

Leanne, How is your day going? Are you enjoying the quiet?

Kia, My trip was awesome! It was SO nice being back at Walmart (the only semi-large store we have in my town), and being out for longer than usual. I'm glad you got new books. Did you finish the one you had?

I'm glad your Wednesday has been good. Ugh, syringe department. I don't usually freak out about needles, but the one you're getting is freaking me out.

I'm sitting here wondering, if they only have self-check out lines available in stores, why aren't they paying me to do their job?

Yes, I finished the one from the guy who travelled through Russia Me getting books is absolutely crazy since I have about 40 on my to-read pile, but I really wanted thrillers

Glad you trip was a success It is such a feeling of freedom to be able to move a bit more, right? So happy you enjoyed it!

And I never thought about the self-check out, but you are absolutely right

Yeah, that is kind of weird, us doing their job! Sometimes I use it but if I have too many things, I prefer someone else doing it!

Syringe appointment?? That doesn't sound like enjoyable!!

My mom invited me for dinner tonight (chicken and dumplings ) and whats weird is I was thinking about that dish recently but never mentioned it and then my mom's making it

It was quiet, Kim! Not now though! Earplugs are in!
