I did a little bit of walking with just my cane today!! It's like, so much freedom. I'm giddy. Not bragging. Just excited.

Oh Claire yay! It sounds like you're having a busy and productive day, and enjoying some TV at the same time. Working out on your own. I'm proud of you.

Oh I miss being able to win stuffed animals at places like that Theresa. I'm glad I'm not alone in my liking then. Good that you had a nap. Resting really helps. How are your legs feeling since then?

I didn't see the icon, but I'll check when I'm done. I'm on Advanced posting, so I could catch up.

I'm about to change mine, again. I make a lot of spelling errors on I re-read my posts, but I still miss some.

Oh thats exciting, Kim! A big thing for you, where did you go?

Yeah I don't think you ever outgrow them Jon has a bunch just laying in his room with no place to put them

Haha, its ok. Its mostly when I see people that know how to speak properly and still choose to write in an improper way. As a literacy specialist, it grates me.

I tend to make errors too, and don't always spot them, but I get where you're coming from. One of my pet peeves is someone putting an apostrophe in a plural. My own mistakes annoy me the most though!

Thanks Kim! I just had a win with getting school supplies for my daughter, I just remembered where I could get them locally.

She only let me walk about 20 feet, and back. She wants me to do that 10 times a day, but to not walk any further. It's just the first step-but I had zero problems with my balance.

English was my best subject in school, so I absolutely notice errors. I read misspelled words on here, and Twitter, all the time, so I am to the point I don't really notice any more-and just read what they meant.

Your avie is a classic for sure.

I had to give away a ton of stuffed animals-but I did it right before Christmas, so they went to needy children. It was really hard to let go, but I just didn't have the room any more. Jon needs a set of shelves.

JINX Claire! Yahoo on finding the school supplies like that. That's is an awesome deal.

I can't do apostrophes. I will change words to avoid having to get it wrong.

That's awesome that you're doing so well! Well done! I knew you were getting stronger. I'm so happy for you!

It was good as it means I don't have to make a special trip somewhere to get what she needs! I hope she looks after this lot, though.

Apostrophes are tricky, certainly when I taught my class it, it can be very confusing.

That's good Kim, its promising. I looked into becoming a physiotherapist a few years ago.

Haha thanks, i found it as I was looking through my computer.

Haha Jon does have shelves, but he has our memory box on there, and our personal stuff on there

I'm just having a cuppa, I was able to walk about a lot longer so that's good and Jon is on his way over

Good job, Kim Happy for you to be able to walk without the walker and you are getting stronger week by week!!

I'm just having fun at work, doing my technical stuff, putting labels on things.
<------ BIG NERD!!!

My co-worker makes me nervous though cause she's always anxiety ridden and said she feels nauseous and I see her holding her stomach periodically!! Hope she doesn't

Thanks so much Claire, Theresa, and Leanne! Your support and encouragement helps keep me going, and doing what I need to do.

Claire, yep, that is fabulous. Being able to get things like that, rather than to have to travel a ways to get them is great. True-she needs to take care of them.

Theresa, that would have been a great career for you, too. I'm so glad you're feeling better today, and that Jon is on his way.

Leanne, I must be a nerd, too, cause I really enjoy detail work. I hope your co-worker doesn't do that. I physically feel other people's energy, so I'd have to bail on that job. I'd be on sensory overload with all the anxiety.

Glad you're having a good day, Leanne! I really hope your co-worker isn't sick either.

You're welcome Kim. I'm glad we're helping you on the road to recovery!

Just had chicken tikka masala, love that!

Okay, Claire, so you know I have to ask-what's in that, and what's it like? It sounds really good. You forgot to invite me again.

I'm getting some recipes from my cousin, so I can make some actual meals for myself, and will know what to do with the leftovers.

I'm having fun with my avies. These scenes were so funny, and they seemed to really be feeling things for each other to others, so it was just hysterical.

I'll have to look that up later, Kim. I just buy a jar of the sauce, cook the chicken, and add the two.

They were like a real couple!

Isn't chicken tiki something, an East Indian dish? I like butter chicken alot from India! And samosas! Even tho there is alot of spice in it!

Also love biscuits and gravy, Kim, even tho its a heart attack on a plate. I only had it when I was in Vegas cause its a southern dish, we don't really commonly make up here in Pacific Northwest! But YUM!!! Nice indulgence!! I like southern food dishes but rare I can find them around here in restaurant menus, etc.

It's Indian for sure, a UK version of Indian food that is. I think masala refers to the type of sauce or something like that...

I'm guessing biscuits in gravy isn't what that suggests: digestives soaked in onion gravy, which would be gross.

There is nowhere her to try Indian food. Seriously, they fought for almost 2 years to allow a Dunkin Donuts in, and it's still building.

I think Indian food sounds like the one I'd most likely try and like.

Claire, I can look it up online. I just never think to use Google. They really were like a real couple. It was so good.

Leanne, living in the South has it's great food advantages. I grew up on it, so I still eat most of it.

JINX again Claire. It's sausage, fried, and then put in the white gravy, and poured over a biscuit.

I read that the chicken tika dish was a very popular UK dish lately, even tho to me the photos looked like butter chicken. Over here, even the non East Indian population loves butter chicken! And here I thought the UK favorite dish would be something more traditionally British!

I think the "stereotype" favourite food for Vancouver BC is salmon and sushi!

I miss biscuits and gravy Kim!! Its a white sausage gravy poured over a flour biscuit, not a biscuit as in cookie, Claire
