Yep, I've been watching the entire series after getting the blu-ray set, but I never watched seasons 8 and 9 in their original run, so season 8 is nearly all new to me

Season 8 isn't as bad as the idea I was getting from other fans on other boards. Dogget and Reyes are fine and they had some good monster of the week episodes. I personally just missed Mulder in it but he still comes back. And it ended on a good, happy family note where they should have just stopped it there,

I've definitely been enjoying it so far. One thing I've found is that there aren't the same number of absolute standout classic X-Files episodes as you'd get in the earlier seasons, I don't see any season 8 episodes (well what I've seem of them so far anyway
) making my top 20 X-Files episodes, but it's actually pretty consistently strong all the same. It starts off well with the opening two-patter, and I did really like Roadrunners tooAnd I know what you mean lol. I have seen the M/S clips on YouTube already, I know it ends on them kissing over William, and I'm really tempted to just have the original series end there for me, it seems like the perfect place to end it. I guess that I should at least try season 9 and see what I think of it though  __________________
