| Okay...eventhough I think yours probably deserve the first slots in The Hall, I'll nominate Frank Spotnitz. He co-wrote a lot of the mythology eps with CC (which were the backbone of the show) and was tapped to be the show runner for S10 (which shows how much CC respected and trusted him, to hand over his show to him). He's also very friendly with the fans (just ask him a question on his blog and he'll answer it the best he can). | |||

| Master Fan ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Has Skinner (Mitch Pileggi) been nominated yet? He was pretty much the greatest ambiguous-turned-good-guy recurring character and he was actually added to the credits near the end of the series. Plus, he was the only other XF star who was in both movies (and his appearance, however brief, in IWTB made many fans in that theater happy.) ![]() __________________ If Ugly Betty … concludes its run at the end of this season, as is widely speculated, series creator Silvio Horta would like to reunite his awkward leading lady with MIA beau Henry Grubstick, whom Horta believes is the true love of Betty’s life. - TV Guide “I’m certainly attached to the idea of Henry and Betty being together.” - Chris Gorham Icon: DanaDoggett | |||

| Total Fan ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hall of Fame 1st Round Nominations Mark Snow for Contributing to the Excellence of the Show Would the X-Files have been just as effective as it was without the music of Mark Snow? I'm not sure, it's certainly hard to picture the show without his music accompanying it. Whether it be to ratchet up the tension as Mulder and Scully search a dark room for some freaky creature or to provide a melancholy backdrop to a sad moment his music just went so perfectly with so many scenes. Not to mention the opening titles music, still in my opinion the best theme tune for any show ever Won 5 ASCAP awards for his work on the X-Files. Nominated for 5 Emmy awards. Had a number 2 hit in the UK singles chart with the X-Files theme song. William B. Davis for Great Achievements as a Recurring Character All great heroes need great villains. And in CSM William B. Davis created someone more than capable of going head to head with Mulder and Scully. His fantastic performance helped create one of the most iconic villains in recent television history. Not bad for someone who was only brought in for one episode in a non-speaking part. Nominated for 3 Sceeen Actors Guild Awards for his performance as CSM as part of an Ensemble Cast Kim Manners for Oustanding Directing and Producing Nothing short of amazing can be said for his witty and amusing writing and directing. His work is among some of my favorite episodes in the history of the show, as well as other people's I'm sure. He not only deserves this nomination, but the win. Was a producer on the X-Files for 4 of its Emmy nominations in the Outstanding Drama Series category Frank Spotnitz for Outstanding Writing and Producing He co-wrote a lot of the mythology eps with CC (which were the backbone of the show) and was tapped to be the show runner for S10 (which shows how much CC respected and trusted him, to hand over his show to him). He's also very friendly with the fans (just ask him a question on his blog and he'll answer it the best he can). Nominated for 3 Emmy Awards as a producer and writer while on the X-Files Mitch Pileggi for Great Acheivements as a Recurring Character He was pretty much the greatest ambiguous-turned-good-guy recurring character and he was actually added to the credits near the end of the series. Plus, he was the only other XF star who was in both movies (and his appearance, however brief, in IWTB made many fans in that theater happy.)
