Just a rec since I got to read some newish stuff.

7 Days in May by Prufrock's Love - You have to read The 13th Sign to get the totally kind of screwed up relationship M&S have in the fic. But um basically it's set post season 8 where Mulder wasn't forced to leave but Scully gets taken again and when she gets returned she can't remember anything that happened since a little before she joined TXF. A lot of bitter sweat moments in these fics.

Okay, totally random, but I'm looking for an X-Files fanfic and for the life of me, I cannot find it. Here's what i know.

It's a Post-Invasion fic, very dystopian setting. The country has been reduced to rubble, and people live in small communities where women are treated as property. Scully has a medical degree and is treated with more care, but she hasn't seen Mulder for a few years. He eventually shows up and takes her, and he has a boy with him. Mulder is really different and doesn't speak much, and there is a part where he takes her to clean up at a house where Krycek and Marita live.

It's a very different, very well-written story. If anyone has any info on it, I'd be grateful if you'd let me know!
