| Total Fan   | X-Files Discussion: Who are you more like - Mulder or Scully? Ok recently we had quizzes which told us which characters we were most like but in your opinion are you more like Mulder or Scully? You can choose them because of their beliefs, sense of humour, other qualities etc Personally I think I am incredibely like Mulder. I share his beliefs in everything paranormal, from aliens and UFOs to all the government cover-ups. Any conspiracy theories I hear I want to believe. I read the websites, buy the books and watch the programmes about all of it. I am also quite paranoid which you could say Mulder was And the one thing that Scully seems to have real belief in, religion, I don't believe in. Don't belive in God at all I am not a very funny person but with family and close friends when I am comfortable my sense of humour is very much like Mulder's - quite dry and at at times sarcastic I also like to think of myself as a loyal and trustworthy guy who would do anything for those he cares about, qualities very much in common with Mulder and Scully as well I suppose That and I'm a bit of an outsider really, to alter one of Mulder's lines - 'no one here but life's most unwanted'  | |||

| I think I'm more like Scully and not really in the best ways. I close off very easily and it takes a lot for me to really open up to people. I'm not a scientist, but I like to think of myself as a rational person. Plus, I'm a short, strong woman in a male-dominated field  | |||

| I'm sure my friends would say I'm like Mulder, only because I would be one to believe in extraterrestrial life. I am interested in it, and believe in the very distant possibility. I even write stories about conspiracies and alien life and all that. Though, if I were in a situation where strange things were happening, I would expect for more rational explanations and stuff of that sort. Also, I too am short, and though I am have dark brown hair/black, I see myself as a future redhead. Also, I am short, stubby, and I am kind yet also secretly hard to open up to. I admire Scully for her strenghth and methods. It would be fun to be more like Mulder though. Oh yeah(writing way too much-sorry), I am like Mulder in the sense that like you JayDeeMac, I am an outsider, I guess for being so weird. __________________ "The Truth Is Out There" | |||

| A bit like Jenn, I'm like Scully in that I'm a strong woman in a male-dominated field (not so short though). I've had to learn to stand my ground and assert myself around men. I'm a scientist, like her, and from that point of view, I'm relatively logical. I'm not religious in any way, but I do believe in the power of faith - faith doesn't necessarily have to have a religious connotation, IMO. I probably share some of her less favourable characteristics - I don't trust easily, and there are very few people in life who have ever really gotten me to really open up to them. I do have a tendency to close off when the going gets tough, rather than asking for help. However, I'm also unlike her in a number of ways, and identify with Mulder more. I honestly believe that there are things way outwith the bounds of the physical universe that are beyond scientific explanation, and I do have a quiet, but long held, belief that we'd be incredibly egotistical to believe that we're the only species in the entire universe. I'm also like him in that I can be quite volatile, and prefer to act on pure instinct and impulse, especially when challenged. I've also been an outsider my whole life, so I can relate on that as well. And then you come to the qualities they both share - they're passionate, determined and deeply loyal. All of which I am, on my best days. So I don't think I'm more like either of them, to be honest, which is why I can relate to them both in equal measures. Oh, and I'm so sorry for babbling on like that. | Franny, welcome to the XF board! I think I'm more like Scully, although I think I'm funnier than her. I'm not always that serious but I can be in certain situations. I'm more of a realist and I like logical and scientific explanations like Scully. I don't really believe in Aliens. I am catholic like Scully, but I don't go to church every week (like Scully ). Also I like to think that I am strong and independant and that I stand up for myself. I identify a lot with Scully but there's also a side of me which is more like Mulder __________________ Jen ♥ | |||
