| Moderator Manager   | X-Files Discussion: If You Could Write an Eppy, What Would It Be? Hmmm ... I decided with the need for more activity that we needed a unique discussion. So here it is ... if you could write an eppy (any eppy, any season, any storyline) what would it be? Have some fun with this ... discuss the Title, discuss the main story, any subplots, and if you have an ideal time (season) include that. | Moderator Manager | DARK HOUR When unusual sightings of "monsters" in the Everglades draw unwanted attention to a local Eco-Tour business, Mulder and Scully are called into investigate. Scully is doubtful of the existence of swamp monsters, until hair sample are uncovered ... and it doens't belong to any known animal. | I don't think I could. I tried to write a casefile fanfic one time about a serial killer, but I just couldn't get through it. I could write scenes that further their personal relationship, but not a whole episode  | |||

| My Gosh, they did practically everything where the paranormal is concerned so it's hard to have new and original ideas. I've been thinking about a few crossovers that would make good stories, like for example a West Wing/XFiles crossover , where we find out who, in the political world, is part of the conspiracy and who isn't . I also thought of a Butterfly Effect/X-Files crossover, where we get to reflect on the possible ramifications of being able to go back in time to change things. That story would explore at the same time the question of choices, left unanswered at the end of "All Things". I also thought of a story where Mulder and Scully trace back, with tangible proofs, the conspiracy to the head of a high profiled corporation, which sends the nation into a controversy. At the same time, I get Mulder to try to imagine what goes on in the mind of the same head to figure out his personal motives for being part of the conspiracy. | |||
