Yea I'd watch it. I actually stumbled upon the reruns of season 8 & 1 the first time watching the show, and I stuck around. True, I absolutely loved the eps with M/S WAY more but I still liked them. I'd be curious about the story line if anything.

I definitely would watch because I love Doggett and Reyes, but I'd still miss Mulder and Scully terribly.

I'd watch mainly because of my undying love for John Jay Doggett.

(Oh, and Reyes is okay.)

Though I can't decide if I want to hear about Mulder and Scully from those two. I mean, on the one hand it would be a nice little callback to the original pair and even if they're not physically there maybe they can offer help on ocassion. ('Cuz we all know Scully's got serious Google skills.)

But then if name-drop too much they'll never shake off the whole comparison stigma they'd have and they'd be raising hopes of possible cameos by our fave original duo. And as the OP implied, it would be highly unlikely. (You know, 'cuz they're too busy getting busy in the bedroom to go back to the FBI.

Interesting question. I'd probably watch out of curiosity. But Doggett and Reyes never really did it for me, so I don't know.
