Congratulations, everyone!

We know that for some boards with TV shows that are still airing this may not seem like such a huge thing,
but the last XF episode ran in May 2002,
11 long years ago.

Checking the very first episode gives us an even more interesting anniversary (and makes us feel even older ):
The first season started in September 1993,
so it has been almost 20 years!

This board hasn't been around quite that long. It must have been added in the first half of October 2000, so this year we can celebrate our 13th birthday, which also means we're among the older boards around and that is something to be proud of.

Just for fun... this is what the forum and the board looked like back then...





Our documented post count history goes only back as far as June 2006, but before and since then we have had quite a few ups and downs.
Every now and then we had difficult times like in October 2006 (barely 70-80 posts per week) and we almost had to close down a few times but the moderators and posters always managed to keep the board going.

In 2009 we all went because we got our second movie and here we had our place to discuss the good, the bad and the ugly...

We may not always post like crazy, but X-philes are die-hard fans and we will stick around until we get our third movie... and maybe a fourth...

Who knows... as long as Chris, Gillian and David are still willing, the truth is still out there... and we still post... and we can
celebrate the awesomeness that is this board and its posters and its 150k
