He does seem fine with concentrating more on music lately, it just doesn’t give us as much to discuss

I can't see how his music could make more money than TV or movies though. Maybe concerts do. Or maybe he was smart with money and doesn't need to work where he doesn't want to.

He must have made a ton from The X-Files, especially later on when he was renegotiating his contract
 I get the feeling that music is more of a fun hobby for him, rather than something that brings in more money for him than tv or movies __________________

It’d just be interesting to see him and Gillians salary as series leads compared to lead characters on shows now

The X-Files was absolutely massive and one of the biggest shows on tv, so doubtless they were making millions per season towards the end
