Yes, any ideas, Claire or Kia? Kia is good at figuring out subtitles with the X-Files somehow built in

I might end up going to sleep before you oddly, which is like strange since you’re 3 or so hours ahead of me!

Claire? Kia? Any title ideas?

Leanne, I'm about to go to bed, too. I exhausted myself doing my Halloween.

You can lock the other thread, I'm done.

Hugs, and love, and night night. Sleep tight girl! you!

TFTNT,

Thanks for that! I’m actually going to go to bed and see what happens at 10 pm. I’m that sleepy feeling

Love you too, thanks for hanging with me

See you tomorrow, and then the weekend!

It took me a while to catch up on posts... No idea for a title at this time in the morning. I will think about it.

Thanks for the new thread, Kim! It sounds like you don't need to fill in the big form which must be a relief! I suppose the office is too far away to drive to? If you do get there insist on a receipt from whoever you give it to, so they can't claim you didn't hand it in...

I was having a lot of vivid dreams last night. I must have been close to waking up.

Kim: the course doesn't follow a semester as far as I know. It's a few hours one afternoon a week for 19 weeks. It starts next month.

I'm glad your new place is letting you do the work you want to do, Leanne.

I'm not sure my cat knows many words, except for 'no', 'down!', and her name. Maybe that says something about me!

Yesterday I got lots done. Loads of cleaning, and laundry. In the evening we went for a run the first time since July. My foot was a little sore, but not too bad.

Hey guys

TFTNT

Leanne, your new work place sounds nice. Love that you have a dog there

Kim, maybe you could send stuff in by mail? The whole procedure sounds ridiculous.
I'll have a lot of paperwork to do too since they are about to decide on my disability, the hours I work etc... don't wanna deal with that.

Claire, you busy bee
And I think it's normal that pets living with families know less words. I used to talk to my dog a lot more when I lived alone with him than when I was still in school and living with my family.

That's a fair point, Kia. My cat probably has less verbal interactions because of that.

Kim tried sending by mail twice Kia, they just keep losing it.

My suggestion for a title, (not sure how good this is): 'A problem shared is a problem halved', or maybe, 'A group of friends supporting each other'.

That's cool, Claire, I like that first one! Thanks for the suggestions!!

Yeah, I can see cats not really being talked to alot in a family of many people. Us singles with cats tend to involve them in the conversation since they are the "companion" in the room

Yeah, its nice to have an animal around at work to pet. Just kind of not liking the smell of dog in the work room, I definately can't stay in there to work long term!!

I feel a bit full of cold again. My throat feels sore, and my face is aching a bit. I haven't done much but I did meet up with friends at the coffee shop this morning. It was nice to them again.

Glad you liked the suggestion, Leanne.

How is work going today?

Having a nice day here, the evening colours are getting autumnal.

I haven't really seen any colors of autumn changing here yet! But today and tomorrow should be cloudy and maybe even rain and maybe it will start getting more green grass around here after the drought of summer!!

Aww, Claire hope you can put on comfy socks and have hot tea if you don't feel well!

Work is going good, I was just going through all the books on the shelves beside me and seeing what needs to be done with them so I feel more organized to start doing stuff here! Now I'm ready to catalog some new books for the new year! And do a book order hopefully today, even though its early for spending money just 4 days into the year here!!

I didn't mean leaves, more the low light of the sun shining through the trees. It's getting a little cold I may have to close the backdoor in a minute.

Tea sounds a good idea. I had tea at the coffee shop but it was pretty awful. They don't use boiling water, so the tea is incredibly weak, even for me: I don't like strong tea. Really I should complain and say they need to use hotter water.

Sounds a good day for you then. Have fun cataloguing!

Oh my freaking love. President Obama just gave an hour long speech, for a candidate he's supporting. What a brilliant, kind, man, with so much common sense. He said we can't solve everything at once-but we CAN make things better.

I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulder. I feel comforted, hopeful, empowered, and encouraged. We can do this. We can fix America. OMG, I haven't felt like this in so long. So long.

Claire, the office is about an hour away. My transportation only takes me out of town for medical appointments. So, I can't get there. I made 4 copies of the copy of my form I sent, and I'm sending all 4 out. 3 to that office, and one to the federal office.

It sounds like your class is going to work out really well for you. I am so proud of you. And on going for a run! I'm sorry your foot hurts at all, but it sounds like it was worth it. I'm sorry you're not feeling well again. The title is amazing.

Kia, yeah, when I first applied for disability, they turned me down for 3 years. I had to get a lawyer, and go to Federal court. I can see why doing that paperwork could possibly drive you to insanity. Do a page and then leave it. Then do another page. Maybe that will help?

I can tell by the smilie you're tired. I hope you get some rest.

Leanne, work sounds great today. It helps having things in order before doing what you need to with them. I get not wanting to stay in a small room with the dog smell. I used to work in a kennel, with dozens and dozens of dogs, so, I don't think the smell bothers me for that reason, either.

Don't forget to send me a picture of your fall stuff when you get home.

All green here, but lots and lots of leaves are coming down. The sun has shifted SO much. It is already starting to shine at Winter levels.

There is a football game tonight. A high school is just around the corner. They park in people's yards. So, we have to put no parking signs out, and then my mom ends up having to stop people and tell them to move their cars, because they don't care about the signs.

I got home from my grocery shopping around 12:30, but I spent the last hour glued to the TV.

So, here I am.

ETA Claire, thanks for voting. Ooh, and for posting!

Hi Kim

Glad you feel more uplifted listening to Obama! Of course, things CAN be fixed.

Claire, I can never get tea right! It always tastes like just hot water!!

Oh sorry, that was a typo. I know about the mail. I meant email.

Kim, glad you enjoyed that speech. Obama really knows how to talk and move people. I really liked him

Leanne, I bet you'll get used to the smell an bit more And sounds like you're really enjoying being back in action.

Claire, I'm starting to feel the autumn chills too. It's still really warm during the day (up to 29°C) but the evenings... and I also have a sore throat... hope you feel better soon!
I also met up with friends for a coffee after Pilates Good way to start the weekend.

ETA: It depends on the tea. I have British one I always buy in England which I love. Nothing special but somehow it's different than the tea we have here

Kia. It happens. Yeah, they don't do anything by computer, yet. That would be so much easier.

Yep, I adore him. Oddly, I wasn't into politics, other than voting for POTUS' and knowing a few of the things they stood for. So, this has taught me so much. I didn't appreciate him as much till about the last 2 years of his term. Is he perfect? Absolutely no. But, no one is.

feel better. Wrap some covers around yourself, put your feet up, and relax.

Finally making my way around to boards. It's hard to keep up with that when I sleep so late.

Kia and Leanne, I can't remember if I thanked you 2 for voting, so, thanks, if I didn't.

ETA Kia, thanks, for voting, just now, too.

You're welcome

I'm under the covers already but I'm gonna make some tea and maybe a hot water bottle.

And when everything seems to be going alright you don't feel as needed in a democracy as when things go south. I think that's natural. I wasn't really interested in EU-politics until so many countries developed very undemocratic and xenophobic tendencies.
