Alright, I have two M&S moments and I think seeng the moments "in action" demonstrates why I :love: them! They seem to be related to Mulder's reactions. I always find his actions toward Scully absolutely :melt: / :bawl:

^ I still remember watching this ending and embrace on the original airing because after a whole season and a half (like a year and a half in real life time!), there was no "hiding" of emotions from Scully in front of Mulder. Mulder was so concerned about her well-being during the cases, his heroism is finding her and comforting her, allowing her to cry and give her the hug she needed. Was it the first time they emotionally hugged? It felt like the first crossing of the professional distance they kept all that time and it was a powerful ending.

^ David Duchovny always does me in when he plays Mulder's feelings toward Scully. This time, it's a happy moment between them which takes Scully by happy surprise and she actually smiles! And the way Mulder shyly held out his hand for a dance while not making eye contact til she accepted was so adorable... and the way he is looking at her into her eyes, smiling as they dance. :melt: look at the way he's looking at her, he cares so much, can I just cry now? Such a good moment of adoration from Mulder for his special lady in his life, :love:

I like that Mulder was quite taken aback to hear her say that, she may have been the only one to ever suggest she would have his back. He was mostly unsupported in everything by everyone before she told him that!

Also this was one of the only times she called him "Fox". Did she ever do that again in the series?

Nope only that one time I like that Scully respect his wish of being called the way he liked. It seems that everyone else just doesn't care. No wonder he loves this woman ;)

Nope, he said in that scene that he even gets his parents to call him Mulder :lol: Mulder only calls Scully 'Dana' once too, in Beyond The Sea after her dad died, but I think they both found it too weird to start using their first names

And loving all these moments :sigh: David himself has said that the scene with Mulder and Scully dancing is one of his favourites, and the image that he always thought that they should end the show on :)

Thanks to everyone for taking part concerning "The Valentines M&S Moments Special"!. I really enjoyed reading your comments and I'm so suprised. There are moments I would have exspected to be chosen but instead you brought other moments in my mind, wonderful moments I nearly have forgotten about. Thanks for that! :) :) :)

He called her Dana again sarcastically when a guy was using her fist name. Don't recall the episode. Maybe Jose Chung?
