Excellent idea
I'm afraid watching XF will get a bit difficult for me over the holidays. There will be 7 people at my flat  Maybe I'll just force them all to watch that excellent episode  __________________

I was almost going to ask if that was the only Christmas episode they made, but then I remembered how the Emily storyline took place during Christmas but wasn’t totally the theme.
I’m surprised they never really did a Halloween supernatural focused episode though. __________________

Hmm yeah that is weird now that you mention it, I guess they didn’t ever really do holiday themed episodes outside of How The Ghosts Stole Christmas (and Emily a little bit), it always seemed like most episodes could have been set any time

Watching How the Ghost stole Christmas. It reminds me that I really liked S6... it was a very strong season IMO

It really was, I know that some people found the change in tone a bit jarring, but it’s actually very impressive just how many of the experimental episodes they managed to pull off. Drive, Dreamland, Triangle, How The Ghosts Stole Christmas, Field Trip, Tithonus, The Unnatural, Monday...

Yeah, season 6 was pretty good, despite the fact they were filming in a bright desert setting from them on. Season 7 started losing me with the mythology. There were good episodes in season 6 that had nothing to do with mythology but where a lot of fun to watch!

Season 7 is when everyone started feeling a bit exhausted and spinning their wheels imo, but yeah season 6 is very underrated, if anything they seemed extra inspired that year when it came to trying out experimental episode
