I guess I never noticed after season 5 when I stopped following the show.
at least season 6 was a full normal (brighter lit) season with both of them still. __________________

Sorry you're not enjoying The X-Files but surprised you're still watching it all since so many seasons at more than 45 minutes of your life.

Yeah if you don’t like most of the episodes X-Files is weird to keep watching at 20+ episodes a season

Maybe it’s just easier to find more to say about the episodes you don’t like

So you guys mean a person shouldn't be able to evaluate or rate episodes, or declare that some are lousy? BTW, I just saw Field Trip. It isn't a lousy episode, it just leaves out some information to help make the story of the hidden Giant Mushroom carnivore more realistic. I rate it a B-.

I have no idea which episodes of the last 5 seasons, you did like!
I love the "Field Trip" episode. Both of them having such weird experiences and the viewer isn't given any more information than they do for what's happening! __________________

Well, I hope this can make some of the participants feel better about me. I just finished the last episode of Season 6 - Biogenesis. It is there that Fox Mulder explains to Scully on the phone about the inscriptions that it is the source of "everything" including "all the X Files." This essentially ties the two X Files arcs together. That all the paranormal stories having nothing to do with the aliens are themselves connected to the alien story line, that the aliens who are the source of life on Earth (which would be called the "Ancients" in the Stargate mythology) are themselves the cause of the X Files...……….

Yeah, I always liked the comedic side of M&S so I do like some of the stand alone lighter episodes. It kind of focused on their personalities more than the previous seasons where it was about the cases and we knew nothing of them out of their jobs.

Definitely, episodes like Field Trip and How The Ghosts Stole Christmas were especially fun for examining their relationship and what they were looking for from one another
