S6 was sooo good, it's really difficult to choose. I always loved 'Drive', because of the wonderful Bryan Cranston. Then of course the incredible 'Triangle' and the weird romance in Dreamland (Mulder in the wrong body!): And of course 'How the ghosts stole christmas' and the awesome 'Rain King'. But the 2nd half of the season also had gems like 'Field Trip' (see my signature), or Monday, the typical deja-vu episode. Sigh. I really like that season.

Same, for me it’s a tie between Field Trip and Monday if I had to pick an absolute favourite, but there’s definitely a ton of episodes in season 6 that are all time favs of mine

I like Field Trip, Monday, and Arcadia!
I felt doom and gloom during Drive so it’s not my most favourite! __________________

And Bryan Cranston.....I've loved him since Seinfeld & Malcolm in the middle.

He’s a fantastic actor It’s very cool to know that just that one X-Files episode helped lead to the success of the show that was Breaking Bad

Yeah, that was cool to see the early work of Bryan Cranston and Vince Gilligan on X-Files develop into quality acting and writing in the 2010’s. And I still think X-Files back in the early 90’s was a new kind of quality cause it was filmed almost in a cinematic way.

Hmmm, they do make a good point how Season 6 started with a lot of more light episodes with a twist of comedy but ends on a downer with Mulder in a padded cel!
They mentioned a lot of the best episodes to me! __________________

I think it was probably a mistake to have so many comedy episodes at the beginning, that’s what seemed to make a lot of viewers at the time feel like the show had changed too much and was no longer the same. I mean I loved nearly all of the comedies in season 6, but in retrospect they probably should have spread some of those episodes out a little more, so it didn’t come across like the X-Files had turned into a full on comedy show with no more dark/horror episodes. The individual episodes themselves were all good, but it wasn’t what most viewers wanted the show to become focused around

Yeah, since I stopped watching after season 5 and the Vancouver filming, I didn’t realize they had these comedy episodes.... I should have watched that season at the time though! I could have used some comedy at that time!
I always likes the dark episodes and wanted more episodes to be like “Home” or “Irresistable”. __________________

I like the comedy episodes a lot now, but back when season 6 first aired I was not such a fan at first I remember getting frustrated after Triangle, Dreamland, and The Ghosts That Stole Christmas all ended on the characters not remembering the events of the episode, and I was ranting at school over what is going on with this show, they’re ruining it
