I have no idea of the actress was faking that accent. But Gillian at the end wasn't

If Phoebe was faking it, it would have been a pain in the neck to keep it up for 9 years if the actress replaced GA which for some reason I read, either GA was worried about that or they were considering it.... this was right before GA got to show off her acting chops more in the next episode after Fire... was it Beyond the Sea?

Why would they replace Gillian?

I haven’t heard about the Phoebe actress being considered to replace Gillian, but I did read that Gillian was worried that she would get fired and written off after she fell pregnant in late season 1

I definitely saw that in an interview. I’m happy with how the show handled her pregnancy. But it made me think about how far in advance they film these episodes. Her daughter was born in the beginning of S2 but Gillian was still pregnant on the show even after her daughter was born in real life. Did Gillian even get a maternity leave?
