I was sad at how it was all handled as well, there wasn’t really any time for Mulder and Scully to take it in even, the My Struggle episodes seemed to just race from one plot point to the next

The revival is a horrible nightmare I want to pretend that never happened
 Although it annoys me about shows when people don't like it after a certain point and choose to act like the stuff never happened__________________

I did like most of the MotW’s, and loved a few of them, so I’m happy with the revival overall, but I do hate where CC took the mythology. I might just skip the My Struggle episodes on next rewatch
Well the first My Struggle was okay and sets up the revival, but then the three after that were so messy. In retrospect the season 8 finale would have been the better ending for Mulder and Scully, although I can’t really hate getting extra episodes with them either  __________________

Many years ago I wouldn’t have ever thought this even but if I knew S10 was going to turn up like it did the show’s original finale would have been better

I never watched seasons 8 or 9 as they aired, I only caught up with season 8 when I got the complete Blu-Ray set. I was going to watch 9 next, but then season 8 just felt like such a perfect ending that I ended up stalling on watching it
I do want to see it for myself at least once though__________________

It has some decent episodes. But it’s just not the same as having Mulder around.

Well, its really weird cause he was the whole point and character of the X-Files. It was his passion and point of view really so its weird to carry on a show when the main character and believer of the whole thing was absent!

I really loved S8 and for awhile didn’t really even miss Mulder but probably because we still saw him every once in awhile
