Just started watching my Mythology set and watched the Pilot. Boy do Gillian and David look young.

Yeah it really is amazing how young they look when you watch back through the first season. Bizarrely enough I'd say they both probably look better in the finale nearly ten years later than the pilot

Our Home? Should that not be either Home or Our Town?

Currently I'm watching some Millennium episode: "Matryoshka". I don't know. Never really got into the show. I'm always knitting or writing email or cleaning my room while watching.

As for the X-Files -- last episode I watched was "The Truth". I'm still ambivalent about this episode. I loved their looooong sweet kiss when they re-united. I loved the last scene. However, the whole trial thing was oppressive. Reminded me a lot of Kafka's "The Trial" or Nossack's "The Impossible Proof", both books with their premise of 'a trial that doesn't seek justice' always made me panic. Also the whole death by lethal injection thing... too much realism for my taste. Made me feel very uncomfortable.

You might want to rethink marrying the lines "Kids are dead! Kids are dead!" ("Happy days are here again.").

Damn, you're right John. I meant Our Town. I thought it look wonky when I typed it out, but I was too lazy to go check.

I thought I was right, aren't I always when it comes to The X-Files

I really like Our Town, thought it was a bit of an under-rated episode

I agree, I think it is under-rated. I think it's probably one of my favorite episodes from the second season, and there were so many good eps in S2.

Yeah I think it's one of those episodes that a lot of people say are really good just after they've seen it but not one that is really remembered or brought up in discussions.

I always do that too. I very rarely can sit still and watch something, or I get bored. I don't think it's weird...

I watched Shadows this afternoon.

Me too! It is impossible for me to watch something without writing, drawing, surfing the net etc. I am a very nervous, fidgety guy, I always need to be messing about with something, this can include - sponge balls, elastic bands, stress balls etc, pretty much anything

Trying to sit still and watch a film in the cinema is like torture

I totally Agree. Appart from the fact that fashion has changed (specially for Gillian, who looked much more attractive in the last seasons), I dunno why but they even seem younger in Season 5 i.e. than in season 2.

Yeah I certainly agree and I'm not sure why exactly.

Maybe they just got more money for departments like make-up as it became a more successful show, maybe Fox wanted a great-looking duo that they could push into the mainstream or maybe with the money coming in David and Gillian were able to take better care of themselves personally, whatever it was it certainly worked for them
