The X-Files - UK DVD's

I got my copies of the UK Seasons 1 - 3 last week

The new cheaper ones from Amazon UK for less than £25.
I've not watched any of them yet, coz i been busy watching Van Helsing and Day After 2moz, but next weekend, I shall make a start!

I intend to by all 9 Seasons at this wonderfully low price! I believe the next set is out in December? Seasons 4-6 woohoo! Mines on pre-order already! hehe

Anyone else bought these sets?

Im so glad Fox bought them out, coz paying close to £80 for 1 set was ridiculous, im glad i didnt fall into that trap!!

I almost bought the other sets as well, I'm so glad I didn't bother. What are the extras like? are they the same as the other sets?

i wouldnt know about the other sets, having not bought them

ive only watched Disc 1 of Season One so far!! (not doing very well i know lol)

u get some deleted scenes from the Pilot, and stuff.

the 7th disc in each set is a "bonus disc" which has trivia and background info on the show (yet to watch this disc)

but all in all, id say its a great buy!

i cant wait for the nxt sets

My sisters bought the S1 box and its so cool. I haven't checked out the features yet, but its a great buy

I got S4-6 in the post last week

, they are on shelf for now, I'm about 6 eps into Season 3 so I'll be able to start on the new set soon! *fingers crossed*

I do have one question tho... In the booklet, where it gives the Broadcast Order, theres always one episode that is typed in RED , i cant for the life of me figure out why thats the case...does anyone here know?!!?

I still can't decide if I should buy them, I still have all the VHS boxsets that I bought as they were being released. I'm definitely going to get 7&8 though, those are the only seasons I don't have.

This took me forever to figure out. On the top or bottom of the page they have pictures which are screencaps from the episode that is highlighted in red.

If there are any Americans reading the thread, Amazon.com is selling season One for $34.99. That's a great way to start your collection.

That's what I was planning on doing, I only have 7&8 left to get but I still can't decide if I should replace all the other seasons.

I personally wouldn't bother too much money spent like that.

Kelly: There isn't a sale on for X-Files never has been I don't think amazon and play are the cheapest places.
