TNT is showing the last part of the season eight episodes (Per Manum and on) and I'm really enjoying them ;) It's funny how things change with time.

-CherryPixie- 04-18-2006 03:42 AM

Oh S8, cool! I need to re-watch these eppies, I've only watched them once and that was a loong time ago
Have fun watching, Jenn!

girl in a cardigan 04-18-2006 05:50 PM

Well, I think it's easier to watch them now when I know what to expect. I can just wait for the shippy parts and ignore the other stuff ;)

Kaholli 04-18-2006 11:33 PM

Hehe, same with me Jenn. I always tell myself to sit down and watch the whole episode, but usually I get impatient and fast forward to the "good" stuff. :)

Really nice screen cap, btw! :D

looking at the stars 04-19-2006 04:28 AM

yeah you both its the same with me! :D I want to see the whole eoi but I cannot

-CherryPixie- 04-21-2006 12:50 AM

Hmm..I don't have S8 on DVD nor on tape so I dunno if I'd fast forward to the good parts. Well I think if the storyline in the eppy's good I'd watch it if not I'd definitely fast forward  I don't really need to watch Reyers and Dogett...I'm just not interested in them

Mrs.Almeida 04-26-2006 04:19 PM

Reading all your posts ( alos from before the crash) I really need to get those DVD's soon and rewatch some episodes!
Part of me doesn't even remember some episodes

Mulder and Scully are just the best ( besides Tony and Michelle :D;) )

-CherryPixie- 04-27-2006 01:38 AM

 Mrs.Almeida ! Mulder an Scully are definitely one of the best couples :D!
I know what you mean about not remembering some episodes, I'd love to re-watch S8 and refresh my memory.

You can call me Jen ;)

You know, when I started watching "X files" I was like 12 years old and even though I was so young I knew MS were meant to be together.
I think it was season 4 when I got hooked with it! And addicted to MS!
They were my first shipper! :D

i heart jai 04-28-2006 03:10 AM

Me too! It was probably the third or fourth season when I got hooked and I was about 10 or 11 I guess. Which means I've loved the show for half my life. And Mulder and Scully were my first ship, and I think what got me addicted to TV.

Katiegg108 04-28-2006 06:10 AM

This is funny, cause mulder and scully were my first ship too. I loved how in XF world there's like one ship and the supporters are just called shippers. Its gets so complicated in other shows when there are 10 different ships with 10 different names.

-CherryPixie- 04-28-2006 07:17 AM

 Jen!

I'm sure if I would've gotten into the XF earlier, M/S would've been my first ship. But I wasn't even allowed to watch TV that late when I was like 10 or 11 so

That's because the XF fans invented the term shippers :D There are other ships in the XF-verse(like Dogett/Reyers) but they're not that popular. At least not as popular as MS. And I agree with you, it can get very confusing in certain fandoms when there are all these shipper-names around.

Katiegg108 04-28-2006 07:33 AM

To think, I was part of the original ship... wow, I feel so proud. I started watching during like the eighth year of the show, but I never watched a new ep air, besides the finale. I watched the repeats like crazy. SO by the time I really got into the interent fandom, it was already past developed, so I just learned the terms, i wasn't really a part of it.

Buckeye4life 04-28-2006 10:32 AM

Mulder/Scully were my first "ship" too. My first ep. was Oubliette when they were showing the eps on FX. This was while the 5th season was airing. And then of course came the movie. I was so excited and I found someone who worked at the movie theater to get me in to the sneak preview the night before. I was cursing bees for the rest of the summer.
