Season 11 Wish List "The trick is to be specific. To make the wish perfect. That way, everyone is going to benefit"

Things I would like to see in the next season.

- Sunflower seeds. I found weird that Mulder was not shown eating them not even once in the six episodes. What is up with that?

- Scully's theme. One of the best things we got from season 8 was Scully's haunting music when she was in emotional distress. It was a perfect choice for when she was talking about William, IMO. No idea why they didn't used it.

- Leyla Harrison. I think their biggest fangirl should be happy to see them comeback maybe this time she will be more prepared for the job. Not that I want her a regular but maybe as a special guest in one episode.

- Rudolph Hayes. I was very impressed by his 'psychic forensic' gift. I think it will be a nice addition to the show and to do something different with the autopsies.

What about you?

On the IMDB someone suggested bringing back the Eve's from the first season. Those clone girls, whatever happened to them now that they are adults?

I would like William to play a central role.

I would like them to find a healthy balance between MotW and Mythology.

I want the Lone Gunmen to come back.....THIS TIME FOR REAL!!!

I feel weird saying this semi-hope but I want William to be on the bad side initially to add some drama/twist/emotion to the next season. I know it will depress Scully but it would make William an interesting character who could end up having a change of heart ? And if he was on the bad side it would be an interesting story to see why he went that direction!

Actually I have a whole theory about how William has been raised by Cancer Man all this time and he is actually very bad right now due to his upbringing. During the rewatch I realized that he is presumed dead the same episode Scully announces her pregnancy and we only see him back when William is already adopted. But he has been actively in contact with Mulder and planning doomsday all along. We never found out how Spender got away from the people that tortured him. What if Cancer Man orchestrated Mulder's having to go on hiding so Scully will be alone and vulnerable and offered Spender a deal that he will leave him alone in exchange of 'curing' William and convincing Scully of giving him up? Call me crazy but I seriously think Chris Carter planned William's adoption all this time to have a yet new dramatic arc for our leads.

I thought Cancer Man was blown up in the S9 finale… So why was he in S10??? I wouldn’t mind William starting off “bad” as long as it was well played. Sometimes especially with kids/ teens it can make them permanently unlikeable because they come off as whiny little b-words.

Stewie, the Lone Gunmen…
Spoiler:

It depends on the actor. The kid that played Connor (Angel's son in Angel Buffy's spin off)was very unlikeable as a bad guy. He turned good and he was just awesome. The same thing happened with Eve (Xena's daugther) and I think she did well although as a good girl she was kind of bland and quickly left the show so maybe that wasn't that good of a transition after all :/ The X-files has a long line of evil kids/teens so I'm sure they can pull it off specially since I suspect William is supposed to follow on Mulder and Scully footsteps eventually. Time will tell.

I like that idea! It would probably be a bit anticlimactic otherwise if they find William, he's happy to see them, and they're all just one big happy family :look: Making him bad would really raise the stakes, and give David and Gillian some dramatic scenes to play as they try and get through to him

I thought a long time about this Scully - Sveta Connection. Both have alien DNA. So why could Sveta read people's minds, move things with her mind etc. while Scully can't? I don't believe that Sveta had more DNA than Scully has. Maybe Scully, as a sceptic, just blocked this abilities unaware in way Sveta couldn't. In case William would be bad (I'm not sure about this) his mother could be the key. She could get in a telepathic contact with him and show him within seconds everything they went through.

Yes! There is a lot of special kids that should be grown ups by now and could reasonably come back. The Eves are a favorite of mine. I also would like to see all those babies with tails that should be able to shape-shift like his dad was (although it will be really funny if all of them are losers like their dad) and also that stigmata kid Scully saved that said they will see each other again. Maybe he will be key to something important too.

There has been a lot of signs that Scully might have some paranormal powers. She knew Mulder was alive for example and she has had visions. But I would guess Scully wouldn't had tapped into those powers unless is a religious connection. The show already had her saying she is 'immortal' another fan theory so maybe this seasons will be the one that validate this powers somehow.

I can very well imagine that she will develope these powers in the next season and that she builts up a connection with William.

Something different:
We never got to know the reasons of Mulders depression. Well, we know his nature of course and that there needn't be a reason. But I have the feeling that there was a breaking point. I'm quite sure that William stayed with his grandpa all these years. What if Mulder had been knowing that? What if he knew and couldn't do anything about it? Maybe he even had to choose between mother and son. He never told Scully about that for he knew she would avoid him when knowing the truth. And that made him depressive. Mulder never talked to her about William, he grieved silently. There must be a reason...just a theory. :)
