I was trying to explain to my friend how I liked the D/S relationship, comparing it to CSI, does anybody here watch it? Like, I'm GSR, but I always loved how Greg was around Sara even though he knew he was just a friend, almost a brother, to her

My loving mother recently bought me all of the seasons, and not even as a birthday/xmas present... Just cos she loves me.

Mulder was so out of character in those episodes. No way would he believe her, no questions asked. I know that CC was trying to create conflict between M&S, but could he at least write that Mulder was a little suspicious of Fowley instead of following her blindly

ITA It's ridiculous the way they wrote Mulder around Cowley, I mean he trusts Scully more than anyone else and the second that person arrives everything changes??

I love the new thread title! It's so romantic!

I finally got my mum to start watching The X-Files. We watched the Pilot tonight(my 3rd viewing of the full episode). She quite enjoyed it, but I haven't asked her if she ships yet. She quite likes Mulder, and I think she likes Scully,too, even though she said Scully has to be pretty dense to stay a skeptic as long as she does. My mum says if it had been her, she would have been a total believer just after the events of the Pilot.

Yeah I know, like there isn't enough conflict for them like everything they have to face everyday, the monsters, the conspiracies, along with the fact that they can't admit their feelings to each other, that's a lot of conflict to me already

You know, every time we talk about that woman it reminds me of Scully seeing them holding hands, and it makes me SO sad, I wish she had never seen that I wish I had never seen that!

And that's precisely why they both needed each other and why they were so good for each other, as partners on the X-Files, as friends, and as lovers. Mulder's desire to believe rubbed off on Scully and made her less of a skeptic, and her skepticism rubbed off on him and got him to be a bit more careful before buying into every little tale of paranormal activity. They're the perfect couple!
