Sigh. I wasn't happy. Especially in S10, when their return was revealed....I was soooo excited. And then Mulder's cheap dream/vision.

I think they could've brought them back for realz. It would have been so much fun. And they could've explained it. It's the X-Files, dammit. Everything can be explained. Or nothing, actually.

I didn’t either, I’ve actually never seen the episode where they died, just read about it in episode companions. Season 9 is still the only one I haven’t seen

Fox didn’t even like the characters and supposedly wanted them written out a long time ago

I think I noticed it maybe twice it was that weird episode where he was gettting videos on his phone from Langley I think I always space out during the reboot

Mulder is very loyal to his very few friends so Im not surprised he's secretly sentimental enough to frame photos of friends in his home if no one else ever goes there.
