Ah, yes. An appearance on the gag reel would be great!

Yeah, well. Still haven't forgiven CC for 'bringing them back' the way he did.

Me either, so much of a waste! I still was hoping for a fake death, and still believe they are alive...call it denial. My Lone Gunmen never died.

Erm, I haven't even seen their death episode! I skipped it on my re-watch so for now it doesn't exist in my brain of the X-Files storyline. Haha. I wonder how the reception was about them dying when it first aired!

I don't usually say things like this with shows, but honesty you're not missing anything with that episode. The whole thing was random to the end. No plot, nothing. So if I could I wish I was in your shoes and never saw it either.

Viewers were pretty upset at the time, they even called the episode 'jump the shark' as an acknowledgment of how unpopular the decision was

Yeah, I remember that. I think the reason for killing them off was the cancellation of their spin-off series (which, I have to admit was truly bad). It felt like they were so disappointed by this decision, that they saw no other way to end it. Do I remember correctly? It's been a while....

When did their show come on? I thought it was earlier than season 7-9 of X-Files cause I remember watching it and thinking I'm not interested in this spin off (cause I just liked M&S and their quest for the truth, lol). And I wasn't watching X-Files since season 6... The Lone Gunmen show wasn't during seasons 1-5?
The worst thing for their deaths is did we not see the reactions of their demise from Scully and not even Mulder?? If we didn't see how the deaths of long time friends and helpers affected them, then that's just unsatisfactory on top of the fact they are dead, lol __________________
