I'm working on that It takes a lot of time and I'm really busy at the moment. But I'm definitely planning on putting a thread index up in the next few weeks

Yeah, I know. Sadly I hadn't saved it onto my hard drive.
But I learned my lesson and will definitely do it this time __________________

You can add an avie by clicking on USER CP on top of this page, then go to EDIT AVATAR (on the left side). But until your have 100 or more posts you can only use one of the standard pre-defined avatars Hope that helped. __________________

Thnaks cherrypixie!! I went and checked out the "newbie" thread and I found out that you can't add avis at all until you have 101 posts Anyhow, guess I'll just have to be patient or post a lot!

lately i have gotten into the show. the other night i was watching an episode on a lost artifact, that was found off the ivory coast. later on in the episode a college professor was killed who was from the ivory coast. the artifact had to do with humans were from another place other than earth. i fell asleep watching it , but i just want more information on the subject in the show. such as the artifact and the navajo indian that knew what the artifact meant. and what the whole series of episodes meant in general.

Well the episodes you're referring to are the season six openers: "The Sixth Extinction" and "The Sixth Extinction: Amor Fati" these episodes are mainly told from Scully's point of view as she is on the Ivory Coast examining the remains of a spaceship that was found, so it's not an artifact per se, but the remains of an alien spacecraft. She discovered some text on the ship that had lines from The Koran, the Torah, the Bible, etc. She also discovered some text that turned out to be Navajo script which she discovered after a book was sent to her with a chapter in it called "The Sixth Extinction". Ok, as to the Native American that was Albert Holstein who played a huge, huge part in the show. He knew what it meant because of the "oral tradition of his culture" things that have been passed down to him regarding the ship from his ancestors. This was one of the episodes in the "mytharc" of the show, that is episodes that have to do with Mulder's quest as it were that further explain the conspiracy theme of the show. Are you enlightened now?

Please Read - Rules and FAQ Thread: Looking for something? Have a Question?
All that I remember of the episode, is that the kid is very fast. He is able to move at very fast speeds, where no one is able to see what he does because he is very fast. He kills his teacher by "throwing" a cafeteria table at him, after he trips him and makes his teacher look like a fool. I believe he did it because his teacher failed him, because he had done his test too fast, which he had cheated on with his fast ability to steal the answers.
Can anyone help? |

That would be the episode called "Rush" from season seven, it has one of my favorite Mulder moments: "Okay, but bear with us 'cause we're old and stupid."
