I've always loved the name Lily.

I'm glad you decided to introduce yourself.

I have some friends from Canada, but I don't think any of them are from Montreal.

And I used to watch The Nanny all the time!

There was just something about it that captured me.

! I watched a lot of them recently too.That show always puts me in a good mood, no matter what happened in the day. The strange thing though is that I always feel the need to yell "Burn" for no reason afterward

The Nanny is strangely captivating, maybe because they're always a happy and funny ending for everyone. I rarely meet other fans of that show, so that's great. BTW, I'm also a big fan of Jane Austen. I read her books three times each, saw all the adaptations of them I could find, went all over England to visit the places where she lived, where they filmed her movies, pay my respect at her grave and everything. I am a big big fan of hers.

Hi Leila! Welcome! You love Jane Austen? Do you read other classics? I'm into Dickens and And if you haven't already you should read it you should read Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. Not quite a masterpiece but funny as hell if you don't take it seriously.

I am SO jealous that you've been to all the places where she lived and the filming spots and her grave.

It sounds like it was awesome though! Sadly I've only had the opportunity to read Sense & Sensibility. I saw the Emma Thompson version of it and loved it.

I caught the P&P version with Keira Knightley and didn't really like it then I saw the one with Colin Firth and absolutely fell in love with him and Jennifer Ehle!

I've also seen Persuasion too. The BBC tv version with Amanda Root I think is her name. The end of that movie always leaves me feeling blissfully happy and squeeing.

Anyways, I'm rambling here.

I hope to get through all of the books some time soon and see as many of the movies as I can.

. I love Dickens too, although not as much as Jane. I haven't read all his books, only three for now, but he is definitely one of my favorite. I also love the Brontë, Lewis Carroll, Louisa May Alcott etc. I love my classics. I haven't read Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, the cover kinda freaked me out. I'll look at it now.

OMG you didn't like the Keira Knightley version

. Almost everyone I know loved it, but I hated it. That's just not Jane Austen (the person who did the movie didn't like JA by the way). It felt more like a cheap romance novel than anything else to me. The Colin Firth version now that is almost like reading the book. I'm so in love with that version (while in England I found myself by chance in the village they used for Meryton, it's gorgeous). I loved the Persuasion version you saw too (visited Bath and Lyme because of that). You should check out the latest version of Sense and Sensibility that the BBC did in 2008. It's also quite a good one.

I'm rambling too. Anyway, that trip was amazing, worth every penny. I mean Isaw her manuscript, her writting table, everything (they even keep a piece of her hair in Chawton). I truly hope you also get that chance someday.
