I think so, bleaching it blonde is pretty harsh on your hair I think. I know that Gillian had to wear a wig for the X-Files revival because she was warned that it would actually start falling out if she dyed it red for X-Files, and then back to blonde again for The Fall

Her hairstyle is an androgynous style but looks good for her face shape! Yeah, bleaching hair can dry it out like straw and cause breakage so I’m betting she can’t wear it long and flowing even if she wanted to.
Also, I wonder why I have a problem with Scully’s hair too short in season 7, but feel fine with her hair being even shorter now  __________________

Gillian especially seems to have really intense fans online, even more so than David does interestingly, whereas I think it was probably the other way around when the show was running? David was the one to get a jokey stalker song written about him at least

I remember her saying she wishes she could play more comedy, but for some reason she only gets offered serious parts
