Yeah they safed so often Scullys live for example! But i think Carter made a mistake. He tried to made a second Scully and Mulder couple with them!

I don't think CC tried to make them to be the new MS I think the fans looked at them as replacements (but I look at them more as another team) I think the writers could've presented it in a different way

That's tough I have a few for different reasons.
I love the first introduction of Reyes (that episode obviously showed a past with him and her and I looked forward to seeing more) John Doe I love because Doggett had his memory wiped and although at first he didn't trust her, she never gave up and was there to bring him back.

Then Audrey which shows a more romantic side to them both
and of course I do even love the finale with them, especially when Doggett protects Reyes from the super solider.

well reyes was the female mulder and doggett was more like scully. so yeah the fans were not pleased. but io saw both in a different way too.

i love your fafourites too. my fafourites are 4D with both in this parallel universe.it shows more from their relationship. the beginning as he was in her flat.

she was so flirty to him in this episode. and then you could feel her whole fear about him. yeah it is a great episode

Audrey belongs to my fafourite too. but i cant help myself.. why the hell he did not really kiss her in the car there.

and i think release is a great shipper episode too.

I think from what happened with his son, it was very difficult to let anyone get that close to him. Doggett seems like the kind of person who would give his whole heart to someone so when it's broken - it a struggle for him just to get back up. He'll never be fully healed, but after seeing his relationship with the team and then Reyes - it helped heal some wounds, though the scars are still there. So when it showed his reality verses what he wanted in Aubrey, it goes to show how much he fights with himself everyday just to be happy.

Poor JohnBut i have to agree with you, he fights everyday with himself to be happy! I think he made his peace with himself after release but he will never forget it. He tries to move on but its very hard for him. I think it did hurt him very much that Scully for example never really trust him at the beginning. He wanted be there for her but tse was so far away. I believe if he and Reyes would be together, it would be not so simple then.Reyes had a different live as him and maybe she can not really unterstand him there! She is there for him if even he needs her! But i think she can not unterstand bis pain. On the another side, i think she was vor is great for him! She wanna hell him trough every hard time! That is Reyes

In my mind at end from Release they spend the evening together

I like to hope they did, even if not "romantically" I like to think they still stayed together that night. I love that scene, it was emotional, but he could've hugged his ex, instead he was comforted by Reyes

I think, he hugged bis Ex too! They are still Friends after all this. Barbara moved on.And she wanted that he would do the same. I think she liked Monica

It could be! I think after they found bis son dead, he was heartbroken. Maybe he lost himself there. Barbara suffered too. And both mourned but it did not help there. So yeah the marriage was not in a good point by this. And i think Reyes maybe did give herself the fault for this what there happened with bis son. And then she wanted help him. Maybe they did spend a evening together with much tequila.. To much drinks.... And then the kiss happened and maybe more. And he called it a big mistake. So they did not talk to eachother für a very long time..

I thought that doggett was really obsessed in this Episode! In the hospital it looked that Reyes would die and the doctor wanted take her organs.. But doggetts reaction was like: take your hands oft my wife. He reacted like her husband!
And did you see it? He cried about her.
